From Pits, to Pots, to Pans... Great product!
This product reminds me of a product I used to use years ago, salt water soap. The wife and i went on a 3 day camping/sailing trip in our little 17' Windrider. Since this product can be used on everything from body, hair, clothing, dishes, etc, etc...it was worth a try; plus, only needed to pack one soap. We used it for cleaning up the dishes after cooking on the beach. It worked well...but the true test was yet to come. After all the other folks left and we were finally alone on the beach...it was time to shower. Since we camping on the Gulf of Mexico, it is salt water. We took a little swim, then using our swim suits like a washcloth, we lathered up. Making suds with just a few drops is not difficult and it would be easy to use too much of the soap...basically just wasting it. This way, both us and our swim suits would be clean. We did a quick dip back in the water and then gently poured fresh water over us for the final rinse. No more smell...all clean and no sticky residue from the salt water. OK...I'm sold! In October (next month) we are planning a 5 day camping sailing trip in the 10,000 Islands area of the Everglades National Park (along the Gulf of Mexico). We will have our Campsuds packed and ready for use and it will be our only soap. I would happily recommend this to my friends and family that enjoy overnighting in the great outdoors. And for the record...our swimsuits (as mentioned above) were dry the next morning and were completely odorless. Great Product! Thanks.

Excellent Soap for Camping
This soap has been excellent for camping. It rinses off easily and quickly, it cleans great too. Grease no match for this stuff. We use it for handsoap too which works great for short term, but overuse can lead to dried out hands. Still, this is a must have for washing and cleaning about anything when camping. Beats Dawn hands down because you're not wasting water trying to rinse it off. My only complaint is it's a little overpriced, at least the one I bought.

Great Volume and can clean everything
I used this for a month long trip. I washed my clothes and my hair almost every other day and I still have half a bottle left. It can create Lots of bubbles which I really like and using it to wash hair won't dry my hair out. I usually have oily hair the next day I washed it, but this soap change the game. But since it's not a soap specialized in shampoo making, certain degrees of drying the hair is inevitable. But overall i's a good soap.

A proven and versatile cleaning product that is mild and environmentally responsible.
Good cleaning product. It gets the job done and is environmentally responsible. It's versatile enough to clean pots and eating utensils, shampoo hair, wash your hands, or bathe with. That means this one small bottle is all you need to carry. It's concentrated enough that you don't need much to get the job done. And it's been around for ages. It's stood up to the test of time with generations of hikers.

So fresh and so clean (clean)...
Being in the military usually involves periods where you are separated from normal comforts...like nice hot showers, normal food, and real toilets. Many people think that military men and women are used to being filthy and don't perform any kind of hygiene when "in-the-field." Now it's true you get the occasional Private Stank-Ass who refuses to do any type of hygiene and walks around with mud-butt and crusty socks; Most Soldiers, Marines, etc. enjoy the opportunity to clean ourselves when we have the opportunity. After I heard we would be in the field for a few weeks, I decided baby wipes and hand-sanitizer alone wouldn't cut it. My goal was to be the freshest soldier in the field and live up to the nick name my LT gave me...Private Poppin-Fresh. In the past, I've used all sorts of crazy things such as "waterless" body wash and shampoo...Problem is most of these smell like ass. I decided I needed to try a different approach - Real soap and water. Now the problem in the field is you still can't exactly strip down completely naked for a nice, lathery shower, unless you love SHARPS complains and ticks on your junk. I had to use a different approach. I found that by squirting a bit of Campsuds, hand sanitizer, and some extra water into a thing of baby wipes you get instant wash cloths...They actually lather and get you clean. By the way, when I say, "lather", I mean it. This stuff creates a nice lather...not big bubbles, but the smaller ones that get into all the little cracks and crevices. With a bit of water from your canteen or whatever, you can rinse most of it off, and then with a towel (don't forget to bring a towel), you can wipe yourself down and feel fresh fresh. Well that's almost true. In all actuality, you'll have a bit of soap and baby wipe residue left, leaving you feel a little sticky for about a half-hour until you completely dry. In case you're wondering how well this works for shaving...well it depends on your face. No really. For my face, I am unable to shave within 48 hours of my last shave or else I will look like I lost a fight with a weed-whacker. I tried to use this instead of shaving cream, but all I got instead was pain and regret...and blood. To make things worse, the chin-strap of my Kevlar (helmet) was even more irritating to my now skinless chin. Anyways, I digress... The other benefit of such sudsy soap is that you can wash your socks and underwear with very little soap. This is especially good for when you're eating nothing but MRE's and your stinky, paint peeling farts embed themselves into the fabric of your boxers (and space-time). Just a dab of Campsuds and some water to work a nice lather, rinse, and air dry. All in all, this stuff is pretty good. The only reason why it's 4 stars instead of 5 is because I am not too fond of the smell. I wouldn't say it smells bad, but it's certainly not manly like Old Spice. I wish there were different scents that you can chose from. In short, if you're looking to stay fresh in the field, look no further than Campsuds. As long as you have enough water, you're set.

Great outdoor soap
This soap is impressively strong and it works very well. It also is as eco-friendly as it gets. I have used it to bathe and wash dishes, even clean out cuts, and I'm still *twitch* perfectly fine. If you are using Leave No Trace ethics in the backcountry, this is the best option I've found, but don't let it get directly into the water as it will still cause problems. Use it on land and try to keep the runoff confined to a hole in the ground if you can so the stuff has time to strain out in the dirt and degrade before it runs into waterways.

Consistently Good Product
I have used Camp Suds for years, when backpacking and after surfing. It also has a new cap. The old style with the flip up prong would occasionally get blocked with dried product. The new cap has the style used on shampoo bottles. You press down on one side of the top and the other side rises slightly to allow product to come out. The cap also has an outer ring. With a slight turn, the ring locks the cap so the top of the cap cannot be accidentally depressed and opened.

Just a good all round product. Have been using it for years on camping trips.

Cleans even tough soot marks (with cloth) but can also use in hair. I’m very allergic to many products and this has never caused me any difficulty.

Just used this for a camping weekend to wash dishes, hands and some cloths and a little bit of it gets it super soapy and cleans effectively. Good value.

While I wouldnt clean myself with this prior to a hot date, it most certainly does the job on the campsite. I shower with this in lakes and waterfalls without having to worry about hurting the environment. Ive used it on dishes and clothes, it really does it all
