Powerful DIY drain-cleaning solution that pays for itself fast
Powerful DIY drain-cleaning solution that pays for itself fast If you’ve ever had a slow or clogged drain and dreaded calling a plumber, the Tool Daily 100 FT Sewer Jetter Kit is an absolute game-changer. I bought this for my pressure washer (rated around 3000 PSI), and within 10 minutes, it cleared a stubborn clog in my outdoor drain line that snaking couldn’t touch. The difference between mechanical augers and a hydro jet like this is night and day—the water pressure scours the inside of the pipe, not just punches a hole through the blockage. Setup was straightforward. Everything you need is included: the 100 ft hose, jet nozzles (button, rotating, and corner), a short trigger gun, adapters, and even Teflon tape. The fittings thread smoothly, and the included wrenches make assembly quick. The rotating nozzle is the star of the kit—it self-propels through PVC pipes and flushes debris as it goes. The 100 ft length gives plenty of reach for longer runs to septic or street lines. Performance-wise, it’s impressive. I tested it on both my home’s clean-out and a patio drain that tends to back up with roots and mud. It handled both with ease. The hose feeds well and has just the right flexibility to maneuver bends without kinking, though I’d recommend uncoiling it in the sun first to relax the memory. Water flow is consistent, and I had no leaks or connector issues. That said, this isn’t commercial-grade—it’s best suited for light to moderate residential use. The outer hose layer feels durable enough but not indestructible, so avoid sharp edges or dragging it over concrete. It’s also not designed for hot water or continuous heavy-duty jobs, but for typical home use, it’s more than capable. Bottom line: For under $50, this kit can save you hundreds (or even thousands) in plumber fees. It’s a smart, effective tool for anyone who owns a pressure washer and wants to take care of their own drain maintenance. Just pair it with a 3000+ PSI washer, take your time feeding it in, and let the jets do their magic.

Worthy product with several caveats
1) The product works best on a smooth PVC pipe. It does work on a flexible (french drain type) pipe, but, the corrugated innards will catch the head. Just a little jiggle / pulling out and feeding back in and it should keep going. Maybe it does better with a corrugated flexible pipe than smooth PVC -- my french drain was ridiculously clogged. 2) I tried it on a 1700 PSI electric pressure washer. Was not self-feeding as shown in the demo videos -- not enough power, and, my pipes (see picture) were a thick, muddy mess. Sorry, I don't have a picture of the product in action, but, someone reading this review will likely more want to hear about "what was the PSI on your pressure washer, what type of pipe, how long of a pipe, how old is your pipe, when was it last cleaned, and how bad was the state of the pipe." The Sewer Jetter is probably is amazing on a 3500+ PSI pressure washer. For the most part, I had to push the hose through and it would not self-feed as in the demo video. 3) So if you are pushing the device through, what is the point? Well, it does a very good job of blasting the mud. Also, it is MUCH easier than trying to push a garden hose -- the thickness of the hose is just right. Does a much better job than a garden hose in navigating the angles in a french drain system. The age of my french drain is 25 years and it is never been cleaned. TIPS I wouldn't go so far as to say that "this is the only tool you need", but, it would probably rank #1 on my list of tools that I have tried so far. The "bladders" attached to a garden hose did a good job on getting my french drain clearing project started. However, if you have a 3500 PSI pressure washer, the Sewer Jetter probably is the only thing you need! The long hose does get tangled and out of the box it is wrapped in a tight coil. Ideally, I would leave it out in the sun for a few hours stretched out to its full length to get rid of the memory effect keeping the coils tight. It will be much easier to handle and less likely to get knotted up as you feed it in. I did start with a 75 foot rental auger / roto-router to clear my drain a bit. I don't know how this would have done had I started with it first. However, the amount of mud that came out after using this with pre-clearing with the auger was amazing. All told, I cleared 90 feet of pipe -- the longest run being 60 feet. What I did notice is that around 45 feet, the Pressure Jetter became harder to push into the pipe and I eventually did give up. I think that the hose thickness and the amount of mud in my pipe eventually made it more difficult. However, I was impressed that the hose went as far and as easy at 45 feet. I will likely just try and figure out where the french drain is around 45 feet and cut an access port / venting drain in the surface so I can clear more. So far on the 90 feet of drain I have spent 5 hours with the auger, 2 hours with the bladder, and 4 hours with the pressure jetter. I could easily see myself running the Sewer Jetter every 12-24 months to keep the french drain clear -- especially now that I have 2 (probably 3 by the end of this project) additional external drain access points. Based on the cost of the Sewer Jetter, it is a worthwhile investment that I will be using for year to come -- it will have earned its space on the garage shelf when my spouse starts searching the garage for things to sell at our next garage sale! Last word... this review may feel like a sales pitch for a 3500 psi pressure washer. The Sewer Jetter can get the job done with an electric (lower PSI) pressure washer, it will just take longer and, like me, you will likely be saying at the end "this would do so much better with gas powered pressure washer."

Works like a charm under pressure
Tried it out today. Took a little bit to assemble it. I like how it comes with its own trigger and pipe threading tape and everything. Never used one of these before. But it was cheaper than renting the power auger at the home Depot. And I heard that the water jets work better for paper clogs like toilet paper backup ran at 65 ft all the way to my septic tank and worked my way back slowly. As soon as the clog was hit I watched the water whoosh down the pipes and clear everything. Very happy with product. After pulling it all out of my pipes, I used my pressure washer to clean all the hoses and spray it down with urine neutralizing spray from Clorox and it is sitting in the backyard drying in a coil. Then I'll put it everything in the shed. I like how I can get my pipes squeaky clean so that less of a chance of a future clog snagging on something

Worked
Worked great. Took 3 times but still cheaper than a plumber water jet.

I do not recommend purchasing this hose for drain jetting . Yes the jetting heads are good however the hose is not fit for purpose . The hose kinks unlike a proper drainage hose that I use daily this was more for domestic work however I won’t be using this due to the hose being able to kink . Not worth purchasing.

Good piece of kit that seems to be made of quality material, considering that there are others out there at twice the price. Bit of a pain to get the hose straightened out after being coiled so tightly for some time. Only downside (and it's not just this product, others are guilty of it to), how difficult would it have been to include a 22mm to 3/8" adapter to connect the trigger mechanism to my pressure washer hose? All the other bits are there to get started straight away, except the adapter!! Yes, I could have used the connector provided; but then you have to use spanners to disconnect the drain jetter from the pressure washer, instead of easily disconnecting a bayonet fitting. You could even add the £7.99 it costs on Amazon on to the cost of the set, so you wouldn't be a penny out of pocket. It's the little things that matter!!

Sewer Jetter Kit for Pressure Washer worked very well for me. At end of Feb. 2021, the main drain line clogged in my basement; the sewer water backed to the basement floor. The furnace base was in the sewer water when I discovered the problem. Luckily, it was discovered at the early stage, only a few square feet of the floor in utility room was cover by the sewer water. The water leakage sensor I put on the basement floor did not send me alarm because it was on the basement floor near the sub pump far away from the floor drain in the utility room. I called the professional unclogging the floor drain. I was quoted for $260CAD. The issue was he could not come to my house right away. Called a few home depot stores in GTA for renting the drain auger. Not all stores would rent out the augers during the virus pedantic. Luckily the store in Oakville did. I rented the 100ft-Auger semi-automatic for 4hrs. It cost me $79.27CAD including damage protection and tax. The issues were the 100ft-auger too heavy, too big. It is nearly impossible for one person to put it in your vehicle, or move to basement and from basement to the first floor. If you have just a regular car, you could not put it into your car trunk, too big. For this dirty job, and also during the virus pandemic, I did not want to call a friend for help. Anyways, at the end I did the dirty job myself with some tricks. Four days later, my friend got the same problem utility room flooded with sewer water. He called me for help. I helped him doing the same thing once more time. His car could not take the 100ft-auger, he could not get the auger into the basement and back to the first floor. I helped him for the whole job. He paid the same $79.27CAD. After those, I was searching the options which one person could handle. I found this Sewer Jetter Kit for Pressure Washer. The review was good, the price was very reasonable, I had an electrical pressure washer already. Most important, I can easily carry every item around (in and out basement, in and out my vehicle). So, I purchased one at end of March 2021. The package arrived very quickly (earlier than scheduled or promised) and in good shape. All the items listed were inside. April 13th, 2021, I got call from one of my friends. He said his utility room floor flooded with sewer water. And he said he could not rent a drain unclongging auger form home depot because because the virus pandemic. I took my electrical pressure washer (1.6gpm@1300psi), hooked up the Sewer Jetter Kit for Pressure Washer and a garden hose to the tap water, tested the kit (see the water spraying). Everything worked. I told my friend, no worries, I have the machine. I took the items to my friend's house, hook up everything, and push the Pressure Washer power button, the jet head went into the floor drain. Within 3min, the main drain was unclogged. I am very satisfied with the product and the service. Recommended.
