A Little Bit of Sweden in a Jar
Best Lingonberries in a jar. Perfect choice for Swedish Pancakes. Delicious! Tart/sweet!

This is one of my favorite jams/fruit spreads.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Lingonberries are right up at the top of my favorite berries and jams, with a flavor similar to cranberries, although less tart. I pick this item out when I want to indulge, with my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, with an extra-tasty jam. Value for money: Lingonberry jam is a bit costly, so I can’t have it all the time, but when I do get it, it’s pretty special, for me. Fruit content: There’s bits and pieces of whole fruits in this fruit spread. Texture: The texture is sweet and slightly tart. Taste: The taste is similar to cranberry sauce, but sweeter, more mild, and less tart than cranberry sauce.

One of the best lingonberry sauces
I was introduced to lingonberries on a visit many years ago to visit some Swedish friends just north of Stockholm. People there put lingonberry sauce on just about everything and every meal. They buy it in half-gallon tubs. It's not a "delicacy" there but a staple condiment. When I used to live near an Ikea, I bought their Sylt lingonberries at about five bucks, but lacking that opportunity this is a decent alternative. If I do find lingonberries in a local grocery store, the price is even higher than this one. This Felix brand is one of the best lingonberry sauces I've found in North America. Otherwise, lingonberries are fairly scarce on this side of the Atlantic.

Swedish Pancakes!
Swedish pancakes! My husband's grandma used to make swedish pancakes and we have her recipe. So, we make them on weekends quite often, and I always keep a jar or two of the Felix Lingonberries around to put on the pancakes. Not as tart as cranberry, not as sweet as strawberry. Perfect.

Yum!
This could be the best lingonberry sauce I have ever had but wow, it's expensive. Is it worth the price? It's very good but I'm not sure about that question. Every so often, I guess it's worth the price but not daily.
