Loved, loved, loved this movie!. I grew up with the Rocky movies & have watched the DVDs several times over the years. I am also a Stallone fan.I was beyond excited to see a new chapter in the Rocky saga. I absolutely loved that we have the Legacy of Creed, which had a huge influence on Rocky's life and career, & pleased that the story absolutely honours that history & friendship.Michael B Jordan brings a wonderful fragility to the character Adonnis (Donny) Creed, which had a broken life & seeks to find his place in the world.I literally cried years of joy when Stallone & Jordan were punching the leather speed bags together. It brought back all the joy, inspiration & nostalgia of the Rocky movies that ONLY a true Rocky fan would understand.The fighting in the final fight was fantastic. - I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie several times along with the sequel. And have happily added the movie to my DVD collection because, yes, I enjoy those nostalgic things.

I enjoyed it. A good transition from the Rocky name in these series. The storyline is not dissimilar to what you expect from a Rocky film; boxer needs help, rocky helps him, some good training action scenes, happy ending.It would had been a great film if they had developed the character of his rival more in depth. In the end you don't really get any sense of hate or real dislike for his opponent, unlike in previous rocky films where the bad guy was part of the story. In this film the final bad guy is just another fight.The other aspect could have improved is the boxing, rocky actually showed skill and tactics during his fights that varied with each opponent. In this one everyfight looks the same, and basically is don't defend just go toe to toe and hope you knock him out before he knocks you out.Besides the two issues above it is worth renting; could have been better and perhaps reignite a new series but instead felt more like just a decent addition with no further to go.

Excellent movie!! Recommend viewing

One of the greatest boxing movies ever. Stallone is great and Michael B Jordan is terrific too. The plot and script is great and it's truly inspiring feel good entertainment

This film will make you want to get up off the sofa and punch anyone near by with a 1/2 combo, I finished the film feeling like I’m not doing enough with my life as the scenes in it were just amazing, and what’s best is there’s 2 more of these, combining all the motivation and sheer hype from the trilogy, I am now the most powerful man on earth, thanks Creed!

While the movie is watchable, it doesn't inspire you as much as the Rocky series.
