Great Dock for the M4 Mac mini, absolutely love it. I looked at quite a few, read and viewed may Youtube video reviews of others Came across this one, the specs and layout were what I decided suited my needs. A little bit pricey but I suppose the Smart Display is what bump the price, BTW this feature is a pleasant bonus as it shows exactly everything that is connected, health, temperature, name of the connected NVMe, name of the Monitor, size of the screen and resolution, power consumption of the Dock which is nominal, mine says 5.1V and 0.55A. It cycles through all the various displayed readouts every few seconds and before I forget, it has an Audio jack at the back of the unit removing the need to use the one located at the front of the M4 mini leaving it free for headphones if the need arise. Very pleased with the purchase which arrived a day earlier than promised.

The SSD enclosure is super handy for highspeed file transfers, and it doesn’t add any noticeable noise or heat. is a total game changer,It turns my Mac mini into a powerful desktop workstation without clutter. The aluminum build matches the Mac mini perfectly and doubles as a sleek, space-saving stand.

Very useful and solidly built little product BUT I was plagued with the SSD (a WD Blue SA510) disconnecting randomly and it caused all sorts of issues with the Mac when it did. I have however found a firmware update which takes the controller chip from the version when purchased, which was V1.32.49.140423, to an updated version V1.34.29.011325, for which the release notes say "Fixes an issue with random SSD disconnection", so I am hoping this will resolve my issue. This is a pretty major flaw in the as-supplied firmware! Note: The only way that I can find to see the firmware version is to download the updater and run the utility called "UTHSB_MPtool_Lite" which tells you what version is installed, and enables you to update the firmware with the new version which is supplied with it. You need to remove the SSD first (presumably to avoid corrupting it) then reinstall after completing the update.

I was hesitant to buy this hub as some of the reviews mention overheating and wi-fi issues. However, having used it for a few days, I'm very happy with it. it's well built and looks great sitting below the M4, but more importantly there's no sign of any overheating, even when transferring large files using the SSD. It does get slightly warm though. The wifi speed has reduced a little but not enough to be concerned about.

Would never buy from the company. Quite disgusting serve by RayCue no real support terrible and quite disgusting considering the cost paid out ! Why as the hub say it take NVMe drive this NOT true it take the drive. But the Hub then overheats. Mean you Mac at anything time stop then the NVMe no longer shows in Finder. Despite the heated used and the lid even "left off the hub". Still did not work. Reach out to Revue showing photos of the fault within for day got one message back. Saying waiting form Amazon. Hang on Amazon did not sell me this RayCur did and Amazon did make the product RayCue did disgusting service and RayCue charge a lot for something that was "not able to use NVMe SSD" And yes l tried another NVMe drive and again the same error after sort time. Amazon were great and help me out and sorted and fix the problem. RayCur "just did not give a CRAP" never buy from the company again never been warned this hub does not work with NVMe SSD !

Looks good and works well. My only gripe is that there is no cut out for the annoyingly positioned power button on the Apple M4 mini mac. You physically have to lift the Mac up off the doc to switch on the computer.

This mac mini docking station has been perfect for my wife. I previously bought her one but this one has been way better. She loves the display on the dock which shows everything that is connected to it. It also has much better additional storage and extra ports. The value is great as well for the quality. This has also worked well with her dual monitor setup compared to the other one. The speed of the input seems to be faster and have less lag.
