Absolutely love this self cleaning litter box. I was unsure about this purchase although I was motivated to buy it based on reviews, ease of use, and the discounted price. I was pleasantly surprised. Somewhat intimidated by the instructions initially, I finally got the unit added to our wi-fi and it began working but threw an error code. Checked several things in the unit and read back over the reviews for possible fixes. Figured out that I did not put the cover back on the unit correctly, so the little gray door at the front was not horizontal, but slightly askew, throwing the error. Fixed the cover, reset the unit through the app, and the it began working perfectly. Was afraid after adopting two cat sisters from the shelter that the unit may be too loud for them, as the calico is very skittish, but her sister, a tortie, absolutely loves this box and prefers it to the more tradition standard one. Great product, definitely recommend, just wait for it to go on sale; as it is quite the investment but worth it.

I have tried a lot of different litter box setups and this Fumoi Self Cleaning Litter Box has been by far the best one I have used. I got it recently and it made an immediate difference. It looks clean, it works well, and it has taken almost all the hassle out of daily litter box chores. The size is the first thing that stood out. It is roomy inside and gives my cat plenty of space to move around. The cleaning cycle runs smoothly and separates the waste from the clean litter without any issues. It keeps the box fresh and ready to go throughout the day which is exactly what I needed. The self cleaning feature has been very reliable. The sensors pick up when my cat leaves the box and the cycle starts at the right time. The waste drawer is simple to pull out and empty which saves me time and keeps everything cleaner. The odor control surprised me in a good way. The area around the litter box smells much better than it ever did before. The biggest benefit is how much time and energy it has saved me. I used to scoop multiple times a day and now I barely think about it. My cat had no problem adjusting to it which made the switch easy. It also runs quietly so it never bothers me or the cat. Overall this litter box has made life easier and the space cleaner. It does exactly what it says it will do and does it well. If you want something that takes the work out of litter box maintenance this is a great choice. I definitely recommend it.

This self-cleaning litter box is the best thing that has been a total game changer. Love this litter box. Ive been using it for a month Pros Cleans litter cleanly. I use Worlds best litter and it clumps and disposes just fine. Removal and change of the waste bin is super easy Assembly was quick and easy It saves on litter but it also makes it very easy to add litter. So far I don't see that I have to clean or maintain the interior, but my cat also doesn't have the runs and she potties in the litter and makes sure its covered! Cons Its not smell proof and the provided deodorizer puck does nothing. But it only get stinky a little bit and I sprinkle a little baking soda in the waste bin which fixes the problem. The app is wonky and the running feed of cuts off. Example it will Say Time: Cat entering, weight ( and then it cuts off). I haven't figured out if I can download the operation logs.. and well I am curious about my cats habits... but not that much.

We're going on almost 4 months of having our catbox and we love it. We have 3 cats and all of them are at or around 15 to 18lbs. Big cats with long bodies and big bone structures. They fit in this cat box nicely. I paired it with pet steps to reduce the distance they had to jump in or out. It keeps the house fresher than before when we used a manual box. The deep cleaning process is in depth when it is time to clean it, but that isn't a detractant so long as you have outside living space or a good device sink to do it. For our household, the waste tray is completely full in 3 days, and the Fumoi does lock back in an open/unusable state when the waste tray does fill up. Get a feel for when it gets too full and plan to get ahead of it and you're fine. Also, the drum does eventually gum up with urine and there will be a waste smell like the Fumoi tray is open It is unavoidable given that the waste has to tumble to get to the waste tray. I take the whole drum out and spray it in 99% isopropol alcohol. It completely removes the gum and makes the machine smell new. The alcohol is better than simple green and natures miracle in my opinion. The motor is quiet but one of the drum carriers in from has a tiny squeak to it. I did put frog lube paste on it to seal out litter or waste from the spindles and this has proven effective. Sewing machine oil works well too. All of my cats use the Fumoi without issue and took to it in about 2 days. The bottom line is that I do recommend this product and I absolutely do not regret buying it despite the higher initial cost. Also, I don't use the app at all and the cat box functions without. I put electrical tape over the blinking light looking for internet. When the weight sensor gets tripped, the catbox cleans when the cat leaves. If the cat gets in when the box is getting cleaned the program freezes and all motion stops. It resumes when the cat goes away. All functions besides programming can be used with the three buttons on the box itself.
