Learn To Read With The Alphablocks - Letter Teams Volume 3 [DVD]

I don't know what it is about the Alphablocks but my 2 just love them. They really don't appear to realise they are learning, and remain glued the whole time. I'm so impressed with the Alphablocks dvd's, I wish they would continue to progress a little further into a few more blending words as the series progresses to allow it to grow with the kids, although the reinforcing of the basics is also good. The dvd's appear to have nearly a full series on each volume which is excellent, as opposed to just buying a few episodes per dvd like Mike the knight and Octonauts etc. I also like the way each letter has a personality with likes and dislikes, my 2 seem know what each character (letter) is about (personality wise) and who is related to who, it's quite adorable, that they know their letters so well, in more ways then one.

I bought all three of these DVDs to use with my reception class. I have made my own worksheets/hand writing sheets to go with them. My kids absolutely love these and I have noticed a positive impact on children's early use of phonics. Also great for parents of reception/year one children to support what is going on in school. Particualrly good for segmnenting and blending (reading and writing)

What can I say - fantastic!!! Really worth buying. In no time my 5 year old son has learned the alphabet and is really getting to grips with the phonic sounds. He was uninterested in learning to read and write until the alphablocks came along, but now its a different story. I had the product posted to Italy. Quick delivery and product just as described. Excellent!!

I purchased this for my 3 year old son, thinking it would help him with letter recognition . I found this a little disappointing. After watching the shows in the Uk on tv my son seemed to really enjoy the program so I thought the DVD would be just as interesting to him. I have tried on numerous occasions to get him to watch these DVDs as they are very boring and uninteresting. They now sit in a cupboard and never come out.
