Maintaining a bald head means that sometimes you get a cut, and scalp bleeds for a surprisingly long time, I guess because there is no cushioning fat layer under the skin, and you aren't very conscious about the movement you cause with the nearby muscles. I used to have to leave a band aid on my scalp for at least 24 hours because the moment when you remove it prematurely, the cut would start to bleed again. I'm so glad I found this product category, because amazingly, it does help! When you wet and apply it, it stings a bit but does genuinely stop the bleeding. If I understood correctly, it's the same principle how aluminium in antiperspirants blocks the skin secreting sweat. The only downside is that because it's a lot like a salt rock, once it dries, it will leave a white powdery residue onto your skin, particularly the perimeter of the area where you applied it. So once you have applied it and let it dry, you may want to wipe off the excess so you don't walk around with that salty residue. But thanks to this, getting a cut no longer feels like a panicky emergency, and I don't need to use that 24-hour bandage. I feel prepared.

Je suis vraiment satisfait de ce crayon. Je m’épile et je me coupe assez souvent, et on connaît tous le souci du sang qui continue de couler après le rasage. Avec ce produit, plus de galère : je nettoie la peau, je passe le crayon une seule fois et ça s’arrête immédiatement. C’est simple, rapide et super efficace. Je m’en sers encore aujourd’hui et il fait parfaitement le job.
