Great for nursing!
I’m a former SpEd teacher, who’s in a second degree nursing program. I do not like smart watches, as I don’t like having all my notifications constantly in my eyesight. I’ve also seen many expensive smart watches break as a SpEd teacher: I buy durable practical watches for work, nice ones for days off. Now in nursing, I don’t like pulling out my phone for calculations in certain situations: I’ve also seen phones smashed as a teacher to have an instinct to keep it away. This why this watch is perfect for me. Reasons I love it: First , it looks great: I’m a 29 year old male who is tall and broad, and my wife is the same age but much smaller, but it looks great on both of us. Second, it’s not a touchscreen. The buttons are still small on this watch, so my big hands don’t always work, but any pen, cotton swab, fingernail, etc., will do. This doesn’t work on touch screens. Third, this watch is the only one I have fallen asleep with. The design is streamlined to wrap the wrist: just watch your arm hair.

Already love it
I've never really owned a watch. And now having a cell phone in my pocket 24/7 I didn't think I would need one. But this is so comfortable and convenient. The basic watch features are nice. Having a quick look at the time, date, and day of the week as well as a quick look to see what time it is back home. The watch face was smaller than I expected but I like that. I like the sleek look. I was a little worried about the tiny buttons but they are incredibly responsive and easy to use. So far I've only just got this thing but can't stop looking at it. The only thing I wish it had was a viewable calendar. I give it 5 stars because I have never found a watch I like despite the lack of calendar. I also love being able to put phone numbers in it. That sounds like it would be useless with my phone but if I lose my phone, it dies, or for some reason I don't have access to it, I can still find my important numbers. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. Looks amazing, very comfortable, easy to use, and just flashy without being gigantic.

Awesome functional watch minor quirks
After eight months of regular wear, this **Casio calculator watch** delivers solid functionality with a few drawbacks that prevent it from being perfect. The **DBC611G-1D model** offers genuine retro appeal, though some design limitations become apparent with extended use **Build Quality & Design:** The **gold tone stainless steel bracelet** feels substantial and comfortable during daily wear. The **resin case** (46.5×33.1×8.7mm) remains lightweight at 48g while providing adequate durability. The **adjustable clasp** ensures secure fit across different wrist sizes **Calculator Functionality - Mixed Results:** The **8-digit calculator** handles basic arithmetic and **currency conversion** adequately, though **button responsiveness can be touchy**. Some buttons require firm, precise presses to register, which becomes frustrating during quick calculations. The **LED backlight** helps with visibility, but this functionality adds to the button sensitivity issues **Display Concerns:** While functional, the **LCD display fades noticeably** over time, particularly in certain lighting conditions. The contrast **diminishes gradually**, making numbers harder to read compared to when new. This appears to be a common issue with older LCD technology in calculator watches. **Data Bank Features:** The **25-page Telememo memory** stores contacts reliably with **auto-sort functionality**. Having backup emergency numbers on your wrist remains useful despite smartphone ubiquity. The **dual time zones** and **daylight saving time** adjustment work without issues. **Timekeeping Excellence:** The **5 multi-function alarms**, **1/100-second stopwatch**, **auto-calendar through 2099**, and **hourly time signal** all function properly when buttons cooperate. These features provide genuine utility for professional use. **Battery Life:** The **CR1616 battery** delivers solid **3-year lifespan** with moderate usage. This reliability advantage over rechargeable devices remains significant. **Value Assessment:** Despite the **button sensitivity** and **display fading**, this **Casio Databank watch** still offers considerable functionality at this price point. The **retro digital display** and **water-resistant construction** make it suitable for both professional and casual wear. **Bottom Line:** A solid **calculator databank watch** that delivers on most promises, though quality control issues with button responsiveness and display longevity prevent it from achieving perfection. Recommended for those who appreciate functional vintage-inspired timepieces and can tolerate occasional quirks. *Would I buy again?* Yes , but with realistic expectations about long-term display quality and button reliability.

SO MANY FEATURES
Already own multiple smartwatches, but what happens when you forget to charge it one night or you're away from home? The smartwatch stops telling the time, and the panic sets in. You don't know what time it is! However, this gold beast doesn't need to be charged and can already do most of the things I need my smartwatch to do. Like tell time, set timers, set alarms, even CONVERT CURRENCY. Also that DATABANK. So useful to have some important people's phone numbers in there so when your phone dies you can still borrow another persons phone and reach them, because like it's 2018, WHO REMEMBERS PHONE NUMBERS ANYMORE? I was alarmed at first with all the features that I would have to constantly be checking the manual to work this beast, but it's surprisingly intuitive and easy to get the hang of. So glad I purchased this, it's constantly surprising me, and did I mention it looks SO PROPER. Timeless style, truly.

Beautiful watch
One of the most awesome Casio watches I’ve owned. I love all the features, even though won’t use them all the time. It just looks so cool. Want to add, that I’ve seen other photos and reviews that have the front side of the band gold while the back and sides remain silver. Mine is gold all the way around.

Excellent watch!
This is an excellent watch. It is light, multifunctional, and elegant. It suits well to wear in the office. The display is of golden color that matches the rest of the watch. It is easy to setup if one downloads the manual. The digits on the display are large enough to read without too much effort. I wish this watch had display illumination similar to Casio Royale. The existing display illumination will let you see the first two or three digits only. Improved illumination would make it an ideal watch for business travel.
