Tag [DVD] [2018]

I really enjoy this movie, great cast and based on a true story.

This is a film that never fails to make me smile and keep me giggling the whole way through. Fantastic cast and a storyline that keeps you engaged every step of the way

Very funny ridiculous film

A while back I read an article about the men whom this film was based upon and of course found it captivating and heartwarming. And of course having read some of the comments I was a bit concerned that this film would be a dud lacking in warmth or fun.I was wrong. This is a genuinely humourous film - and outright hilarious in places - that has at its heart a real sense of childlike joy.Of course it follows the actual truth of the game played by a load of late middle aged men somewhat loosely, but without a doubt uses the framework well.Essentially the film rotates around the old gang trying to 'tag' Jerry, played by Renner, who has never been caught. This sets up the film for a number of scenes where the gang lead by Hoagie played by Ed Helms - trying to nail Renner in ever more extreme ways. I won't spoil it by telling all but there are some gut bustingly funny scenes.The standout for me though is Hoagies wife played by Isla Fisher (married in real life to Sacha Cohen) who helps out but has no control over her foul mouth and extremist ways when she gets excited by the chase.Overall, a great fun film that won't win awards for being cerebral but is genuinely funny in a mostly warm and lighthearted way. There is some pathos in this film as well but that would be giving too much away to say much about it.Highly recommended if you want a light diversion one night.

i have seen a few trailers and snippets of the film online and i am glad i bought this as its funny and a good watch.

If your in your 30's and remember being a kid that was always outside playing tag and other games with your best mates then this is for you. Imagine playing tag but as adults with ye mates yes it's stupid and silly. That's exactly why it's awesome and a very very funny movie
