This stuff works. My dog is recovering from surgery and all the meds messed up his gut. This product is helping him while we build back his biome. Two tablespoons twice a day keeps the diarrhea away. I was buying another brand with 8oz bottles…this is a much better value.

As promised, the real deal. Off brand pink Kao-pectate with the origional ingredients. Used for my dog. Definately shake for a minute or so and then decant this into a smaller bottle for your smaller pets. For farm animals, the gallon bottle is great. I would use this, too, if needed. I don't care for the ingredients in the newer version of the name brand. This is affordable, too.

When I found out that Kayopectate had changed their formula to be the same as Pepto Bismol, I had to look for something else. That's when I found this product. I talked to my pharmacist and he told me it was perfectly safe for me to take so I bought it. The flavor was horribly bland. I completely understand why some of these peoples' pets won't take it. I guess they do that so people won't take it... I bought a bottle of sucralose (concentrated liquid splenda) and it fixed it up. I take it regularly. The flavor is a bit strong but it works very well. Side note... the first bottle came with a broken cap. After speaking with a very rude amazon rep, then calling Back and speaking to a nice helpful rep, she sent me a new bottle. I have installed a 15ml pump top on the bottle so it dispenses the perfect amount every time.

Works well. Thinner than expected but it did the job. Be sure to shake it really well. Having a dog in daycare with her nose constantly in wrong places, this gallon jug paid for itself in two bouts of diarrhea. Big savings over buying small bottles. It also saved the day for me. We had a wedding to get to and I pretty much thought I would miss it due to a horrific and seemingly endless situation. 1oz of this and I had a great time and enjoyed my meal without issues.
