Brilliant protection for your acoustic or electro/acoustic guitar but with some daft design choices. This is when design does NOT follow function properly. A pocket on the front that can't take an A4 book or sheet flat (what size are tuition books or sheet music Fender???) and positioning of the straps too far down the case making the use of one shoulder strap impossible without dropping the guitar. On the great side, the padding in this bag is very dense making it far more effective than most 10mm padded bags, the 600 denier outer material is excellent too and the plastic bits that touch the ground when you put it down promote a long life of use for sure. Really, these are school-boy errors Fender. This must come from the employment of designers who don't play guitar, and without checking by giving the prototype product to those who use it. Such a shame to not get the design right.

Rezension: Top Gigbag – Passt perfekt für meine Dreadnought! Ich habe mir das Fender Gigbag aus der 405er-Serie für meine Dreadnought-Gitarre geholt und bin sehr zufrieden mit der Wahl. Passform & Schutz: Oft hat man bei Gigbags das Problem, dass sie entweder zu eng oder viel zu labberig sind. Hier passt meine Dreadnought aber richtig gut rein. Die Form ist genau richtig geschnitten. Die 5mm Polsterung ist ideal für den Alltag: Sie macht die Tasche nicht unnötig schwer oder sperrig, schützt aber zuverlässig vor Kratzern und leichten Stößen, wenn ich die Gitarre zu Hause lagere oder im Auto transportiere. Verarbeitung & Design: Robustes Material: Der Stoff fühlt sich wertig an und ist sauber vernäht. Tragekomfort: Die Rucksackgurte sind stabil und praktisch, um die Hände frei zu haben. Stauraum: In der Tasche auf der Vorderseite bringe ich mein Zubehör (Stimmgerät, Plektren etc.) problemlos unter. Fazit: Ein klassisches, schickes Gigbag im typischen Fender-Look. Wer eine solide Tasche für seine Dreadnought sucht, die nicht zu dick aufträgt, aber trotzdem vernünftig schützt, macht hier alles richtig. Preis und Leistung passen hier absolut zusammen!

I like the Fender soft case very much. My classical guitar fits in it nicely. It is a very good quality product. It has a nice amount of padding. I really like the backpack function. The straps have two parts to keep them from coming undone. The pockets are nice. I put my tuner in the main compartment rolled up in a microfiber cloth. That seemed safer than the flat pocket but probably unnecessary. It came loosely folded in a large box that was placed inside a larger box. That seemed wasteful. Thanks for the prompt delivery. I had been using an old hard case. With this soft case, I think that I’ll bring my guitar out with me more often. I also hope to ride my bike to lessons with it on my back instead of driving. I’m very glad that I got it. Thank you.

Very rich look and sturdy feel my Takamine GD71 fits perfectly and the pocket holds leather strap, cable, guitar stand (small) and capo. I was sceptical before buying and am very much satisfied after my buy. Very nice padding and rubber corner feels secure & durable. Cons: nothing major if it would had guitar neck support would have been snuggy but still it doesn't matter.
