Bora-Care with Mold-Care Moldicide Concentrate, Wood Protection Against Mold, Termites, and Decay, Long-Lasting Residual Protection, 1 Gallon

We own a nice sailboat with a teak deck. Teak decks are beautiful and certainly add class to the boat and provide an excellent non-skid surface. Caring for such decks is not always easy. Often it is said that the less one does the better they look. Living in Seattle where the deck is often wet and the winters are long and dark, maintaining the beautiful silver color of nicely aged teak is hard. That is where this product shines. I always had to obtain a similar product I used, until this one, from Sweden or from Canada at about the same cost, but with shipping or the effort of going to Canada and obtaining it, thus at much greater cost. Anytime I have not used such a product, mold, moss and the loss of what we all love in teak was the norm. Now the silvery deck is the norm and at little effort. I apply it in the fall when a few days of no rain are predicted. Fist cleaning the deck to ensure that no mold or moss is present, then the product is applied generously and allowed to dry on the deck. A few days later I gently wash the deck and topsides to clean off any dirt or runoff on the gelcoat. It is concentrated and should be used as directed. One gallon lasts two years for me, one application each year, but only half the gallon each time. It virtually eliminates mold and keeps the beautiful silver sheen all winter and summer until the next application in the fall. Except of the concentration it is the same product recommended and sold by the manufacturer for maintaining the deck. I am no chemist, just a happy sailor with a beautiful deck on my lovely boat. Could not be more pleased.

Houses in my community have had mold issues. Ours luckily didn't have one. However, during the last year, I noticed it growing here and there and decided to treat it through various bleaches and other stuff available in the market. Nothing worked. Then I came across this and it is great. It wiped all the mold off and I haven't seen it growing since. Highly recommended.

Much more expensive than I wanted to pay, but it really did eliminate my issues with post hole beetles and bores. Also, wear gloves. This stuff likes to cause severe rash.

Only thing I wish is that the solution would have a dye option so it is easier to see where it had been applied. Easy to use.

Mixed up easily and sprayed down my whole house with it before insulation. Mixed it up in an old trash can because of the 6 gallon mix
