I bought my first outdoor solar bug zapper in early May 2025, and I have to say, it has been one of the best investments I've made this summer. I was initially a bit skeptical about how well a solar-powered unit would perform, but it has completely exceeded my expectations. The battery life is phenomenal. It charges fully during the day, even on partially cloudy days, and it consistently runs strong all night long. Every morning, I see the evidence of its work—a pile of zapped flies, mosquitoes, and other night creatures. I also removed the safety nets so it could zap larger night creatures like moths. It's incredibly satisfying to know that I can enjoy my backyard without being pestered by bugs. Because the first one worked so well, I decided to purchase a second unit in August 2025, and I'm happy to report it's just as good. Getting it started was a breeze; I gave it its initial charge with a USB-C cable and was able to use it that very same night. With two of them working in tandem, the results are incredible. It feels like the bug-zapping power has doubled, and my patio is now a truly peaceful, bug-free zone. If you're looking for a simple, effective, and low-maintenance way to deal with pests, I can't recommend this solar bug zapper enough. It's a fantastic product and a great value.

This is easy to set up. The solar power is great, we do not hear it, it’s a great size, and it functions great. You can move it to where ever you want it and it’s super bright so it draws the bugs in.

Very good product! All night I was hearing the snap crackle and pop of moths and other I sects. It came well package too! The solar panel, insect zapper, chain to hang the solar panel, metal stakes, and even the usc-c and extension cords were individually packaged. The instructions were OK, but it seems like it was translated from some cheap AI translator, so better work needs to be done on that end. They even include a small brush to clean out the carcass for the zapper. You can solar charge it or plug it into the usb-c connector. It has 3 settings: Off (chargable), On (not chargable) and Auto (chargabe when it's sunny outside, but not chargable during dusk/night). It has a one year warranty, haven't gotten around to contacting customer service, so I don't know if they're responsive.
