You should get the bottom protection though.

Der Deckel schließt nicht, wenn ein heißes Getränk hineingegeben wird. Dadurch wurde meine Tasche komplett nass. Dieser Shaker ist wirklich schön, das einzige Problem ist der Deckel. Wenn der Deckel zum Zudrehen wäre, würde ich ihn wieder kaufen. Ich werde zuerst die Rücksendung verschicken.

I rarely write negative reviews. In fact I’d say I write about 10 positive reviews for each negative review. This bottle keeps things cold which I love, but the seal does not work. I tighten it to the point where I struggle hard to get the lid off when I am done and ready to clean it. Still leaks like a sieve so as you can imagine when you’re shaking your protein drink… there’s protein drink being shaken all over the place… what a mess. I took this up directly with hydroflask and they so kindly sent me a replacement bottle under their warranty! Awesome! (I thought) but lo and behold, the new bottle / lid combo has the same issue. It occasionally seals when both the rubber seal and the sealing surface of the cup are totally dry, so I make sure to use it this way ALWAYS in the hopes that I won’t slosh protein drink all over the floors and counter as I shake the bottle. Sometimes I get lucky, most times I’m cleaning up an annoying mess. Will soon be looking for a new bottle. I saw one on the market recently that’s ALL stainless steel. Sounds like a better investment to me. Since the lid of this one is plastic, it does build up the protein shaker stink after some time. The only reason I don’t leave 1 star is because they replaced the bottle for me and because it does keep things cold. Though this doesn’t change the fact that it’s hardly a usable product. Certainly not what I’d expect from a brand like hydroflask.
