Fixman 647990 Classic Mouse Trap 2pk 100 x 45 mm

Placed some food first night. It hadn’t been touched. Following night i used a little glue and stuck a large seed on top. The following morning there were two mice caught and dead. One by the trap and the other must have got stuck in the glue. These had been eating seeds from pots in my greenhouse and were a nightmare.

Snapped in my hands first try poorly made .. both gone in bin never used .. pulled back bar the two brass metal loops came out ...

I had originally rated these traps with one star and stated I'd change the review if they worked. I deployed 4/6 traps and they all had their release rods bent to allow them to sit without triggering (this shouldnt need to be done by the customer and should be done right from factory). 3/4 traps had their bait taken and were clean and had not gone off... So the mice took the sticky peanut butter off the rather sensitive platform and it still didn't go off. Might be my bait, might be my method for smearing it onto the plate, might be the trap. The last trap did catch a mouse and it was a mouse slightly larger than the trap itself. So the traps work with a bit of finagling but I keep my word and now rate them 4 stars. 5 would be given if they worked out the packaging but.. they're cheap. I Still don't recommend them, however if this is what you can get quickly it could work for you.

When trying to set then up the trap went off and the spring mechanism couldn't be reset as the metal would get loose in the wooden base. The good thing is that they are much chair than other models

As advertised. Hate having to kill animals but we weren't sure where they were coming from and didn't have the space for a humane trap. We had the all metal ones but a very large mouse managed to bend it out of shape.

Like others I found that these don't work. They're very fiddly to setup, so I thought they would be very sensitive, but the bait is gone and the traps are still set. The base is also very thin, not sure the spring would be strong enough if it was triggered

No frills traps that do what they need to do

Absolutely useless. First time use fell apart. chucked in bin.
