Robust build. Easy to use. Great capacity and easy to pour old oil into can. This worked well on my 2017 and then my replacement 2021 Audi A4 TDI. I would say these oil evaluators are great if the oil filter is located on the top of the engine as in the case with my A4. If the oil filter is underneath then the car would need to be raised and plastic guard removed so then you would easily get to the sump nut so why bother with this tool at all ? With my oil filter on top I don't need to lift the car at all, simply suck out the old oil through the dip pipe. It is also great for cleaning out around the removed paper oil filter. The engine and therefore the engine oil needs to be warm & you get a feel as to how far to shove the correct diameter pipe into the dipstick tube until it hits the sump pan. Had approx 5L of old oil out in less than 10 min. Quick, easy oil & oil filter change. Hope it lasts. Have done 3 services now with min fuss. Delighted with it . I leave tubes high to allow to drain back over time. Easy to empty too from spout.

I was a bit skeptical about this thinking it would probably get "most" of the oil out but have been surprised. I have used it on every oil change since getting it and on three separate cars curiosity has got the better of me and I whipped the sump plug out after. I could not believe it, no more than a couple of drips were left. So quick, clean and easy to use and no disturbing a well sealed sump plug or risking stripping a thread because the previous person tightened it with a breaker bar ! A doddle to empty too. Just put the pipe in you waste drum and flip the vale and it will empty into it. Seems very robust and well made and should give good service if not abused. If it did break I would buy again without hesitation.

I got this for oil changes as saved the need for sump tray removal, but discovered its good for emptying petrol out of classic cars before winter lay up. Used for about a year now on a nearly weekly basis for fuels, oils and detergents etc. Great reliable tool still going strong.

First impressions good and judging by the reviews hope it lives up to it. The build quality is very good with a range of different tubes for a range of tasks. Having done my own servicing all my life and entering my later years i thought i would save myself the trouble of crawling under the vehicle, let's hope it pays off.

It does the job of changing engine oil just fine, it's a bit slow taking 20 minuites to empty the sump.

Tried this product for the first time and without a doubt should have bought one before. The messy job of doing an oil change was easy and clean and actually a pleasure to do. I didnt know whether to buy an electric pump or this manual one as from the description there is no mention of how long it takes using a manual pumped one like this. It took longer to warm the engine up than it did to syphon out 9 litres of oil. The pump did it with ease and with a quick tap on the valve pumped it back out into 2 canisters. No fuss no mess. Due to how easy the process was I believe it will lengthen the life of the engine as I will do more oil changes now due to how easy it is to do. The pump has paid for itself with the first use and all done without jacking the car up getting underneath it anymore. Easy product to recommend.

Not used yet, quality product after rigorous inspection. Update: used today, worked really great. Out of curiosity got under car and removed sump drain plug and only 50 to 75cc left in sump👍

Used for five oil changes over the same number of years and now it no longer extracts. Buy a cheap electric pump from a supermarket instead of this overprices dinosaur. And don't expect ANY sup^port from the company
