Perfect replacement for the extreme 2 Also, very easy to install yourself. I would highly recommend this battery Instead of buying a new speaker or paying electronics store $100 for repairs Trust me buy this battery do it yourself.

This battery is junk! Updated replacement is significantly better.
Installation was very easy. The battery claimed to have more power than the OEM. It took quite a while to charge the first time. The speaker did power up, but run time is very short, even though it shows 5 bars charged. I have plugged it in several times to insure that it is fully charged. I will retrieve it to use in less than a week and even though it was charged before putting away, the battery bleeds down to 1 bar. It is obvious the cells are either old, weak or poorly manufactured. The reviews seemed fair so I thought i would give it a shot. I did not throw away my OEM pak. I think I will try and disassemble and rebuilt it. This battery won't even make it through the warranty period. Avoid it and try something else. ****updated****** I received a new battery under warranty. I installed it and runtime has significantly improved. I would give these guys another chance. Changed 1 star rating to 4.

Never charged or turned on
Bought two batteries and had the same issue, they never charged up or powered on. The first battery i charge for a couple hours and still didn't come on, ordered a replacement battery and charged it over night, going on 24 hours and still no charge or indication of coming on. I put in the old original battery and that despite being bad still turns on. Other reviews say it works but not sure why it didn't for me

Quality battery!
