I love this tent. I first used it in my backyard during the week of Sukkot to tabernacle under the stars and worship the God of the Bible. As one does. The second night of using it, I left the cover off to enjoy the unobstructed night sky and bright moon. I fell asleep with a smile on my face, so tickled that I could essentially sleep out in the open, but with just a hint of separation from the elements. Three hours later, I awoke abruptly to water falling on me. It wasn’t raining. After a few disorienting moments, I realized that my lawn guys are very diligent about making sure the sprinkler system is always on when they visit, even if I had intentionally turned it off for my tent time. I fumbled around in the dark for what felt like 10 minutes as I struggled to unzip the tent door, while sprinkler water periodically dumped on me and the tent. Once I finally exited and turned off the sprinklers, my bedding was soaked. Thankfully, I have a home and a real bed as a backup to my tent-life, which is where I retired, all while giggling. Giving this tent 5 stars for a funny memory that I hope to remember forever.

Quick set up and take down review. Takes just over five minutes to put up and five to take down. Everything starts to get really tight the further along you get in putting it together. The clasps make it feel like it will rip. It won’t, but it feels like it. Taking it down is as easy as putting it up. Putting it back in its casing sucks. The casing ripped first time. 😔 Will come back with a usage review after going to both the Davis and Guadalupe mountains in October.

So far, I haven’t tested it on a camping trip, but I set it up at home and I’m honestly obsessed. It’s beautiful and super easy to assemble — really, very easy. It was my first time setting up a tent, and I had no issues at all. Taking it down and packing it away was also very simple. I still need to see how it holds up outdoors on an actual trip.

The tent is nice. Very easy to set up. 5 min top. It rained the night I went cramping and the tent was totally fine. One thing though: this tent fits one person comfortably but not for two. Or two small children.
