9 Volt rechargeable batteries are d difficult to find. These are handy and work well.

These 2 boxes each come packed with 2 rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. I tested each battery's charge with a voltage tester and they each measured 8.89 +/- 0.05 volts; essentially 9 volts. I then installed them in 4 of our smoke detectors and they registered as fully operable.The great thing about these batteries is that they are rechargeable, thus greatly reducing the cost of replacement batteries over the years. They are rated to hold 1,000 recharges each, easily lasting a lifetime of ordinary use. Imagine the savings versus buying non-rechargeable ones!It will take months to determine the useful life of a single charge, but if it appears to take less than a year to discharge, I will report back on this review.

The 4 pack HW 9V Rechargeable Batteries for Smoke Detector works great. I charged them up and replace the smoke detectors batteries with no issues. Only time will tell if they last as long as indicated.Note:--> does not come with a charger, you must use your own charger.

These are rechargeable! I didn't realize that when I ordered them, but that is great surprise! It seems 9v always go out at the most inconvenient times and they are hard to find when you need them, having them rechargeable makes so much sense! I wish I had these years ago!

I've decided this is a better way to go than continuing to buy expensive 9v batteries. I have installed a pair on water detractors in my basement that seems to eat store bought batteries. Fit and finish is good. Will never be caught short again with these nifty rechargeables.

I can't rate test how long they last, but it'll be a bargain regardless with the ability to recharge them. I thought it was odd to see something with only 200 mAh... but I mean I smoke detector doesn't use much at all and lithium is known for holding its standby power much better than a standard lead acid battery. Win win. And as others have said, they are very well packaged
