Absolutely stunning. Was thinking for a while on which one to buy, but as I've never had one before I thought I'd go with the cheapest to see how it goes. It's in black and white which is absolutely fine, I don't need colour to read the pages, it's tiny, smaller than expected but super light to hold and im glad it's so small! I've read 5 books now in less than a month and had the ad free version. You can see which books are kindle unlimited and even the kindle books are ALOT cheaper than buying an actual book. I was worried I had too many books and where to put them all! But I can read as many as I want without taking up the space. You can borrow only a certain amount of books at one time, but that's ok as why would I want more than 20 borrowed anyway? I can only read one at a time. You can buy alot of accessories for them too online, handles, popsockets, cases etc... I've chosen to decorate mine. It can be individual. There is no glare AT all when reading in the sunshine (even on the lowest brightness setting) and the battery lasts for ages! ( I automatically set mine in settings to lock after 5 minutes of no use) I can read on my side when in bed and when going away, you don't need to take 8 books with you, you can just take this kindle and have 8 books downloaded, ideal for frequent holidayers! I went for the 16gb as I wasn't sure how much space id use, and I'd say it's perfect for me. The colour is gorgeous and there's so much information you can see from each book. It also gives you suggestions on what books to read based on what you've read. I've now linked to Goodreads so I can find books Id like to read once I've finished. The best thing I've ever bought being a book reader, take it everywhere with me. I looked at YouTube videos to find which one would be best for me and there's lotss of tip and tricks that you can get from your kindle. 100% worth the purchase and I'm sad I hadn't bought one sooner. I really enjoy using this Kindle. I did have a Kindle prior to 2019 and I can definitely say there has been an improvement in the screen quality. This is lightweight, easy to carry around and it can store so many books. I tend to read just before sleeping and I find that if you use the night view Setting, then that puts less strain on the eyes which is ideal later at night. I really like the sage green colour as I think it gives the Kindle a modern look. Sometimes I do find the fact that the screen is black-and-white quite frustrating, but I think when you are just reading books and not having to look at images, it is probably okay. The advertisements don’t particularly bother me but I can imagine this may be annoying for some people. Overall, I really enjoy owning this kindle and look forward to using it more in the future.

Great as a basic kindle but you can control the backlight too which is perfect. The colour is really pretty. It’s the perfect size and weight.

Love it. It’s such a cool thing, I have read so many books since I got it. It arrived set up, which was helpful. It’s reasonably easy to navigate. Good battery life but obviously if you read lots it’s more days than weeks but charges fast. Screen is nice and bright. I have no complaints

Brought this as my 1st kindle. It's easy to use with clear bright wording which can be adjusted to your requirements, touchscreen mmakes using a lot easier. .Lightweight and compact so ideal for taking with me on the move as fits nicelyin my hands. .

I like the kindle I was scared it might be too small but it’s the perfect size although I kinda don’t like that the screen is blue and I don’t think it’s very good for reading in the dark it’s very light and easy to hold in any position and it’s so easy and simple to use it looks sturdy and high quality made

Easy to use, very lightweight, screen is responsive and clear. Good fit in hand as you can hold it with one with ease.

I traded in a 6 year old Kindle Paperwhite for this and I couldn't be happier. It is so much lighter than the Paperwhite and sits nicely in the hand for a lot longer without the weight making it uncomfortable to hold unsupported. Also, the colour makes me smile whenever I look at it for some reason. I'm an avid reader and regularly read for at least 2 hours + a day. I charged it up to 100% on the day it arrived and after a week of constant daily reading I'm at 22%, so roughly about the same as I was getting from my old Kindle but the page turns are much faster as is start up. If you are thinking of replacing an older model Kindle, I would highly recommend this model
