I am a first time user for this paste, or any kind of modeling past, so as a beginer, it was very easy to work with, i used a stencil and then later i was able to clean the stencil by simply washing it off while it was still fresh. For me it worked fine. Good product.

This stuff is great! I love impasto style painting. This creates an underlayment to painting to make it have dimension. I used it under acrylics.

I had fairly high expectations for this modeling paste, but out of the jar it turned out to be less thick than I imagined. On its own, it wasn’t quite sticky or dense enough for the kind of solid, self-supporting shapes I wanted to build, so it didn’t fully meet my needs right away. To get the firmness I was looking for, I had to mix in additional materials to increase the thickness and strength. Once I did that, it became much more workable for creating structured forms. One thing I really appreciate is that the paste itself doesn’t have an unpleasant smell. When used alone, it’s very neutral and comfortable to work with indoors. However, I did notice that after mixing it with sand to create more texture, an unpleasant odor developed. It wasn’t unbearable, but it was strong enough that I definitely recommend working in a well-ventilated area and letting your board air out properly afterward. That said, once mixed with sand, this paste actually performed very well for what I needed. It helped me achieve the textured background I had in mind, and the surface dried nicely with good visual depth. Overall, while it’s not perfect straight out of the container, it’s a solid product if you’re willing to experiment and customize it. I think I would purchase it again, especially for textured backgrounds and mixed-media work.

I really like this bluebird, thick modeling paste. The texture is great. The size of the container lasted a long time. Very, very thick, but works great for what I need it for. I use it on canvases to create texture and it works great.

I have recently been dabbling in mixed media art especially in the area of collage. I’m attempting to teach myself through videos. One of the main techniques involves texture paste through stencils. I had previously purchased a different brand of paste but it was thinner and I am inexperienced so my results were very messy. I did some research and decided to try this brand before allowing discouragement to hinder my success. Guess what! The first time using this paste with a stencil gave me awesome results. It is just the right consistency. I have used it several times now and have been pleased with the results every time. It dries quickly and once dry it stays perfectly. It can be colored if desired with ink or paint. It can even be used to emboss. Very pleased and know that this is my go to medium from now on.

Item arrived late and was damaged also size very small, on trying to return item there was a long process and then a 20$ shipping charge. Very disappointing.
