LED Grow Light Bulbs, AOVOK Grow Lamp Plant Light Panel Full Spectrum for Plants, Indoor Garden, Vegetable, Flowers, Fruits, Succulents, Seedlings Starting

I have a lemon tree that comes inside each winter (I'm in zone 6--nice summers, gross winters), plus I sometimes end up with an assortment of other plants in the same (indoors, no window) spot. Last winter the lemon tree nearly died (!) and some of the other plants weren't doing great so I decided it was time to upgrade from the giant but wimpy fluorescent array I'd been using. This light was cheap so I figured it was worth a try. It was!!! :) The lemon tree is putting out new growth, the green onions (I regrow them from the roots left over after using the grocery store ones) are DARK green and thriving instead of light green and falling over. Three out of four little mulberry trees that had volunteered in my outdoor flowerpots and been brought in are doing great (the 4th I damaged in transplanting; oops)--one's HUGE and leafing out like crazy. Turmeric's doing well. Amaryllis is happy. Some wineberry starts that I didn't get a chance to plant out in the fall look like they'll be fine until spring. I even use this light when I make lentil sprouts--put the jar under it for a day, rotate it once, and they green right up. Long story short (sorry; I get all excited when I talk about plants) I recommend this light. I'm going to order a second one as soon as I finish this review (all the plants I just listed are in the bedroom--the living room has four others that could use some extra light). Oh, and it was super easy to set up--took me about ten seconds to attach it to the hooks I'd been using for the old array and plug it in to a power strip.

Fantastic grow light! I set it up when I received it and just let it run for several hrs before putting it over any plants. Lots of these types of fixtures get hot, this one does not! It barely gives off any heat at all. Which is a great benefit, when using in an area you don't want too much heat buildup. This unit is also bright enough to raise a little higher up from your seedlings and cover a little extra space and more plants (seedlings in my case). So far my carnivorous plants are loving it! I am planning on ordering a few more to add to my seedling setup. The only improvement I can think of would be to add an options to daisy chain several units together. Maybe the next model will have that option?

I have these inside as seed starter lamps and they do an alright job. Not as much power as i would like but these will start and grow every plant i have put them over. I would caution you about using them in anything with water. They grow algae like a pro. So if that is your intention, this is the light for you.

I will be buying a second pair of these next spring. I'm very satisfied with the performance of these lights. Since they were height adjustable and very intense, I was able to get them right up on top of my seedlings. They made them very short and compact, which is ideal for germinating seeds. That creates a sturdier seeding, that doesn't have to expend extra energy trying to find light. The reason I want to get 2 more is that the fixture isn't quite large enough for my grow trays. Apparently I would have been better off getting the larger rectangular shaped ones rather than squares. So I ended up with some leggier seedlings where the light didn't cover. I tried rotating them around, but they all ended up a little leggier than I would have liked. I just didn't know it was important at the time of purchase. But looking at my set up I think 2 more of these squares should do the trick. Hopefully that will fix the legginess next spring.

This is probably good for seedlings but nothing else. Its not bright enough to grow anything of size. But it works well for the smaller plants and succulents.

I must say I was always hesitant of the red and blue light products for growing plants and curious if they even work but I decided to buy one and give it a try and after using this product I am a total convert! I have always been a fan of LEDs they are much more energy efficient and better for the environment and your wallet by reducing your power bills. With this light it is much less harsh than one of the 6500k daylight bulbs I used to use and the purplish color is actually very pleasing to look at. The lights are light weight and very easy to set up. You can adjust the height by the wires on the back if you are creative so you can decide how high you want it. Finally my girlfriend likes it much more than my original daylight bulbs which she wouldn’t even be in the same room with. Hopefully now this means I can put some more plant racks in other parts of the house and not just the room she never goes in. A guy can dream right? If you take anything away from this review let it be this. This is a great product and don’t let the colors turn you off they are much better and more pleasant to look at than the regular bright daylight bulbs. It is a great deal and easy to set up. Give it a try and you won’t be sorry! UPDATE: all my plants are growing exceptionally well! My sundews have even turned a beautiful crimson which I had never been able to pull off before. My success with this light led me to purchase on of their flexible lights. For my seeds in the corner I needed a light that I can maneuver around. The first thing I noticed about this grow light was the quality construction the metal is sturdy but it’s still light and the goose neck is very maneuverable. The clamp hold tight even when you are adjusting. The light doesn’t get too warm which is exactly what I wanted an energy efficient led light. It has a built in timer and 3 different color settings. I highly recommend this light and I hope my seeds like it half as much as I do!
