I brought some of this soap back from a trip to Thailand, where you can buy it all over the place at a very low price... and it is hands down my favorite soap, ever. I use it to wash my face, and I use it in the shower for general purposes. It lathers up very rich, smells faintly sweet but does not have an overpowering scent, and when you rinse it off it leaves behind soft, smooth, happy skin. As someone who has battled with dry skin all over my whole life, this stuff is magic - I can even skip lotion after my shower most of the time and be fine. Which is utterly amazing for me, who used to have to use moisture-rich body washes because normal soap left my skin tight, dry, flaky, itchy... Just make certain you are buying this stuff with "jam" on the label - there are a ton of copycats on the market, with other names on the label, but they are not nearly as good as the "jam" ones. I've tried them, many are more heavily scented but do not lather up as well as the "jam" ones, and some are waxy or leave a ton of oil on my skin. None of that is great. The "jam" bars are a little soft - in a hot shower they can be kind of squashed and molded like play-doh almost, but they are not waxy or oily. There are little bits of roasted rice in there - so be careful, they can scratch you if you rub the bar across your skin while a rice grain is exposed. They're easy to knock off with your fingernail, though, just take a good look at the bar before you rub it across your skin.

Excellent product leaves your skin feel extremely clean & silky smooth. The product really lather up great.

Great leather and bubbles from this soap. Leaves skin soft, but the smell seems to have a slight scent of rose, which some may not like.

Well if you don’t like its creaminess , maybe you can eat it. Smells like rice
