Non stick, well built, should have bought another
So far this pan is not only worth it but it has beaten all expetations that I've had for its function. The picture you see was taken right after cooking breakfast. We have been using this pan for 5 weeks and using it multiple times a day. The egg still slides out. I'm sure you have gotten a new pan and its non stick seems to disappear after a few times of use. This is not the case with this pan. I've been waiting for the shoe to drop and I'm starting to think that maybe it will never loose its non stick properties. I guess time will tell. We have not used any medal spatulas because why risk. Its well built with a heat protection coating on the handle and attached with two rivets that go through the pan which makes it strong. The forked handle really helps it not become hot. It also has a small hanle on opposite side of the pan which helps to move the pan when its heavy with two hands. I melted cheese and wanted to show you that it didn't stick. The last picture was taken after the cheese melted and I lightly washed the pan with a paper towel and it looks great. I'll update this review in a few months and see where we are. I'm back after 4 months of daily use and pan is working justbas it has the first week. I was messing around with the idea of buying another pan that was $190.00 dollars but I can't imagine it being better than this one. Another update, I bought the expensive and beautiful pan that I was thinking of getting and the expensive pan does not function as well as this one does. Its shiny and beautiful but the non stick doesnt compare with this pan and we are now using this pan for maybe a year now, also I wish I had bought a second one but too much time has passed since I bought the expensive one. I can't imagine any 1 and 2 star reviews other then maybe defects. You will love this pan

Good frying pan
I have been using this frying pan frequently since January, 2024. I wanted to buy the same scratch resistant pots and pans but wanted to test the product out prior to buying the whole set. It has been an awesome frying pan from the get go. It has been very non-stick but lately im noticing things are starting to stick just a little bit and I do not cook on high. Still washes like a charm where even the stuck on food washes off fairly easy. The inside coating has definitely been scratch resistant and I have used metal utensils in the pan as instructions say you can. The outside of the pan is not scratch resistant and has many scratches on it. Overall, great pan and one of the best frying pans I've ever had.

Best wok ever owned!!
For years I've owned my old wok but lately I've been searching for a quality wok to replace my old one with. I am very picky on what I usually like, however, when I saw Circulon (only my favorite brand!!) has a new 14" Scratch defense non stick and with a lid, I knew I had a wishlist! I cook so much for my family of 6, this was the perfect addition to my kitchen! Super easy to clean and use without getting my fingers burned. As well as the non stick is very true, extremely easy to cook. I love making stir fry with salmon and vegetables or chicken with fried rice! It's wide and spacious and cooks evenly. I love the stunning lid where it helps to steam and cook everything together! Excellent quality design, Circulon yet again never fails to disappoint me. Makes a perfect gift for a loved one, holiday gift or special occasion for someone who loves to cook! It leaves my food tasting delicious, healthy and nutritious! Easy cooking, easy cleaning, easy meals.

Capable Induction Frying Pan at a reasonable pricepoint.
Okay, I ordered two frying pans; this one (Circulon A1) and a Faberware Induction Frying Pan. Both in the 12 inch variants. The first test I always run is to verify they are actually induction! Yes, I've bought pans in the past that said they were induction, but weren't! So a mug of water in each, turning up the element to boost. Both pans passed the first test handsomely. Neither is expensive but the Faberware is almost half the price of the Circulon. However, the Circulon is much better at distributing heat from the induction element. On an 8 inch element, the boil pattern quickly covered most of the base, whereas with the Faberware you get near-instant heat but the boil pattern matches to the induction coils. In other words, for most uses the Circulon is clearly the better frying/saute pan. The second test is to look for doming of the frying pan in normal usage. The Circulon was decent - a small amount of doming but keep in mind I was running it at 5000W for about 5 minutes, and it regained its shape on cooling. I have not tried this on the Faberware because, from experience, I know this test can damage pans with poor or mediocre heat distribution. The handle of the Circulon is rubber - whether it proves durable, only time will tell. Likewise the quality of the non-stick surface. I'll report back in a few months on it's non-stick properties and endurance. The Faberware has an all metal handle which remains cool in normal usage. Of the two, the Faberware is the one to stick in the oven. The Faberware obviously lacks the heat distribution qualities of the Circulon, but to be fair it's a lighter pan, which may suit people more used to aluminum-only pans, or perhaps older people who would struggle with a heavy pan. Both of these frying pans together weigh less than my 12 inch Demeyere saute pan but we're talking a whole other price bracket! I cook every day, everything from classic French to Indonesian, Turkish to Moroccan, Malaysian to VIetnamese. So these pans get a workout. No induction pan I've tried, at any price point, is suitable for wok cooking (I have a water cooled wok burner for that). However, that aside, the Circulon A1 has handled everything I've needed it to do. So on average I expect a cheap frying pan to last around one year, maybe two. That's what I expect from these pans, but I'll report back if they fail to make the grade. Of the two, however, the Circulon is my clear favorite (though I'm keeping both). I have bought expensive frying pans in the past, at exorbitant prices, but the non-stick failed regardless. I don't like getting black chips of non-stick in my food. Overall, it's my experience that buying cheap(ish) induction pans makes sense from a purely financial perspective, but obviously that is somewhat subjective.

best wok ever, :-)

Had this for a few weeks now and the quality of the coating and non-stick ability seem much better than other brands we’ve had in the past (including Tefal, aldi, Kmart) All others seem to have coating start to scratch and peel off after 6-12 months, even using non metal utensils. Here’s hoping that this one lasts longer, seems like it will. Surface wipes real clean after cooking. Looks like you don’t even need to wash it. Also seems pretty light for the size, wish is nice. But still weighty enough to retain heat. Would buy again at this stage.

We baby this pan so I'm glad that it is standing up. The quality of the build tells me that it has an expiration date but gladly, that day hasn't arrived yet and we've had it for more than a year - probably gets used twice a week.
