If you can wait to get this vs spending way more in a store do it! Works just as good, flows great with no issues and can get ac repairs taken care of quickly! Buy a couple extra tubes because you never know when the price might jump.

I needed to braze copper sheet together and this was recommended because it has no lead. You of course need good prep and the right flux. I used the castellated method of joining the sheets then boiled the flux in some water and brushed it on and then heated it for penetration. The copper was 22ga. If you are working thinner stuff you have to watch your heat. I also used a propane torch and it did a good job. The rod flowed nicely into the castellated seam and when planished out you couldn’t tell where the brazing was. I’m very impressed as I’d never heard or used it before.

I bought these to try in HVAC. Just like supply house, but shorter. I was looking to save money in supplies.

I used them for stained glass, mainly for stems on flowers and 3d pumpkins. They worked perfectly for that. Good quality for what I’m using them for.

Good quality copper rods at a fair price. Welds clean and consistent—great value!

Once you get it to melt, it flows nice. Tried with just map gas and then with Map/ O2. Highly recommend using either Map/o2 or oxyacetylene. Map alone takes too long and burrns the copper a little.

This is much better product than what is sold in the local box stores. It is much better than "silver bearing", the 5% silver brazing rod flows nicely. I used my oxygen/mapp gas set up to braze bronze and copper plumbing parts for a faucet. I not a welder or plumber, have performed some do it yourself plumbing and welding over the years.
