Ultralight Sleeping Bag Top Quilt 850 Down Ultralight Backpacking Camping Blanket

Wow! This is a phenomenal sleeping bag/quilt that any backpacker should love. If you struggle with the constraint of a traditional sleeping bag, this is your solution. I used it for over 30 nights while camping my way on a 10k mile motorcycle journey to Alaska and back and it held up beautifully. I also used it on a canoe trip where we did tip and everything got soaked. This held up well, dried quickly enough, and did keep me warm even when it was slightly damp. I'd say waterPROOF is a stretch, but that's what I expected going in. It is very compressible, and stuffs into its sack well. Its weight is fine for the size, certainly not heavy, but I don't recognize it as much lighter than my older "traditional" bag. Lastly, being able to stick out a foot or arm to temperature regulate is incredible, and the reason I will never use a zip-up bag again. My only complaint is that the stuff sack is very thin and did develop some holes, and the down does seem to escape from the quilt occasionally. But with over 40 nights of sleeping in it over the course of about 3 months, I can say it is some of the best bang-for-the-buck that was available when I needed a new quilt. I highly recommend it to anyone, and especially people who find the zip-up bags to be too constraining. For reference, I am 5'9 225lbs, and had plenty of room to toss and turn and flip however I wanted. I rarely do 5 stars, so this is a huge endorsement. Every single person who I camp with has been jealous of my bag and bought their own after our shared trip. Be the cool friend, and buy it first!

This is what I hoped for. My first order was a disaster. Instead of a top notch quilt I received a preowned inferior sleeping bag not worth $40 that had been previously returned. I sent that one back and reordered. I then contacted customer service and explained what happened and asked that the shipper make sure I received a new, correct product. The gentleman said he was attaching my request to the order. The quilt came the next day and it is all I hoped for: well made, roomy, lightweight, warm, and compresses into a small bundle. I used the included large storage sack over the top of my pad to hold my pillow in place.. an added great feature. At $124 it is a bargain, comparable to quilts costing double what I paid! Once again, Amazon does it right!

This quilt exceeded my expectations on a recent backpacking trip. Nighttime temps dropped to around 35–40°F and I stayed very warm the whole night. It fit perfectly over my sleeping mat and didn’t move, even without using the clips. I’m a back and side sleeper, and I found it really easy to move around under the quilt without drafts. When I woke up a little chilly, I just pulled it up around me and was instantly warm again. The weight and pack size were excellent—didn’t feel like it added much to my pack—and it packs down small. I also used a sleeping bag liner so I wouldn’t need to wash the quilt often, which worked perfectly. Lightweight, versatile, and cozy—this is a fantastic quilt for backpackers who want warmth without the bulk. Highly recommend!

This is an unbelievable quilt for the money. I've had it now for just over 4 months. Used it on 2 backpacking trips. Had one night where the temp got down to 38 and it was plenty warm. Can't speak to how it performs at anything less than that but it seems to be of good quality and I would not hesitate to use it with temps in the low 30's. Material seems like it's a little on the light side. Wouldn't want to subject it to much abuse. It's also a little heavy for a quilt with this temp rating. Mine weighed in at 36.44 oz. But that's a good weight especially at this price point. Similar quilts run twice as much. Plan to use this on upcoming trips again this year. Love it!

The quilt is warm, light, and packs down well. It’s my first down sleeping bag/quilt, so I’m not sure if it’s normal for a feather or three to fall out on occasion. My only real complaint might be a selling point for some—the straps don’t really lock in position, so a firm tug will get them to loosen. I recommend this to anyone looking for a budget friendly quilt.

While hiking, I realized too late that I needed a warmer bag/ quilt and to have my "good one" shipped to me in time was going to be unreasonably expensive - so Amazon to the rescue. This quilt is quite lofty and warm - though I've only had low to mid 40° Fahrenheit nights so far. I have no doubt that it will be warm enough for me (a cold sleeper) into the low 30s - so its 28° rating is pretty accurate. Its packed size is larger and it is 6 oz heavier than my "good" 850 fill quilt (obviously) but I am very impressed and satisfied with the size, weight, and warmth of this budget 650 fill quilt. *edit: I see it is listed as 850 fill; it is bulkier than my brand name 850 fill 10° quilt, which is why I thought it was 650. The only improvement I would like is for the straps to be elastic loops to secure it to the sleeping pad - which is an upgrade I will probably make later. The ones that come with this quilt are not elastic or loops. The clips appear to be the same as other brands so they should be compatible.

Warm and comfortable! Used on a hammock with a pad and works well! Not the most lightweight but perfect for carcamping

I bough this for car camping and as others have stated the down fill is very scarce. I was fluffing this thing for 30 min and there was still areas that the down fill wouldn’t go. The picture shows stitching on the horizontal as well as vertical to keep the down in place. Mine only had stitching on the horizontal so the down would not be distributed evenly. The pitches also give an impression that it’s a large fluffy blanket that is perfect for cold weather trips. In my opinion, it’s a thick top sheet not a blanket. Very disappointed in this one.

Really liking what I've experienced so far with this budget friendly quilt. Seems very warm and is very cozy for its weight. Also appreciate the sack they include to store it.

First of all, does this color, green dark gray, looks like anything from Amazon web where we ordering this product? – Not Second, there is minimal, not evenly distributed down fill throughout this Quilt, in many spots, against light , you can totally see it through material. Then it came in almost broken carboard box, with almost damaged stuff sack, not typical Amazon packaging. Finally, slightly not true to size and weight as advertised on Amazon site. I`m returning this, ordered something else, and being hopeful that that product is going to be right one.
