El Rio Mild Nacho Cheese Sauce, 15-Ounce Can (Pack of 12)

I like to buy frozen brocolli. I also like the frozen brocolli medley with carrots and cauliflower. A very simple recipe is to cook them in a large microwave bowl and then pour the cheese sauce over them during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Yummy and full of vitamins. You can also do the same with a can of chili in a microwave bowl. Add the cheese sauce. When fully heated add a cold diced tomato and tortilla chips. Your family will love you and you have turned veggies into a nacho treat. Enjoy!!

We grew up with this nacho cheese being used to make cheese dips & nachos from our childhood. It’s just like it has always been, made with cream cheese to make it smooth. The big store brands I could find on the west coast all seem super waxy and taste very synthetic. Add some shredded cheese and this sauce instead of velveta blocks & you’ll have a better queso on game days.

Great for loaded nachos . But I still have a lot of cans

Don't overheat or you'll get watery cheese. Luke warm at best.

This cheese is a little thinner and not as bright orange as the traditional nacho cheese served up at snack bars and ball parks, but it is still a very tasty treat. The small bits of peppers give the sauce a kick, and I usually add extra as well. This is not health food by any means, but it's a nice snack to have on hand in case of company or a snack attack.
