What can I say if you like walnut well then here ya go. This will work great as stepwise truck bed flooring in my model building. As well it will make some nice wood grain dashboards for the models as well. Sorry if you were looking for a review for this being used the way its supposed to be used but.... yeah only scale models here.

The black walnut edge banding is exactly 1-1/2” & unfinished. It worked perfect for me replacing pieces on a 60 year old dining table. I was able to stain it using multiple colors to match the table. I finished with a Matt spray and you can not tell the difference. The glue is very strong and easy to melt with an iron. Takes a little effort to cut, just make sure your blade is sharp.

The product has 1 major flaw - there's finger joints every 2-3 feet, meaning a lot of the roll is un-usable because there are not many longer lengths of clear veneer to use. The walnut in-between the finger joints is good, no issues, they just need to manufacture these with longer boards to reduce the number of joints in each roll. The adhesive works well, no issues. Given how cheap the product is, it makes sense they use short, cheap offcuts to make it.

Beautiful black walnut veneer tape. Extremely good value for inch and a half tape. Would definitely buy again.

Arrived ontime and properly packaged however this is not Dark Walnut if it is its very light colored.
