I got this for a Financial Markets & Institutions class I took last year... I failed because the first book I got was from Jeff MADURA- DO NOT GET THAT BOOK!!! It's terrible. This book was great. Well written, renewed my interest in finance. I learned a lot and it wasn't painful, even for someone who hates math. Clearly written concepts, engaging, practical, I actually thought of keeping it, but eventually returned it because it was a rental. If you need this for a class, get it. Stay away from Madura unless you like torture!!
