Having had the peanut flavor from the store several times, something was off about the two I received from this seller. It tasted similar to how the fermented soybean flavour is supposed to taste, and at first I thought I was sent the wrong flavor, but it said peanut on the label. I didn't trust it so I threw it out.

I love Laoganma, I use it in everything! It's not spicy, it just has a little kick so it's safe for people who don't eat hot sauce. It's one of the best Chinese-kept secrets, you have to try it. This is not a hot sauce, it's flavor enhancer chili oil so treated as such. You can add it to sandwiches, dips, soups, noodles, pasta whatever you desire as long as it is savory and NOT sweet. Add a spoon or two to your ramen or rice dishes and take it to the next level. The peanuts will give you that extra crunch as well. I hope Amazon keeps it in stock more often
