Why did you choose this product over others?:Used this brand before so I thought I’ll get a big tub of it. It really helps my dry itchy skin. Would recommend it to anyone with any type of bad skin

Brilliant, using it as bedbound at the moment, protects and nourishes my skin really well.

I’ve had a persistent dry rash for months - GP prescribed steroid creams 3 times but as soon as I stopped them, it came back. As I didn’t want to continue with steroids, I looked for a non steroid cream. This cream has made an enormous difference and the rash is barely noticeable now, and skin is not as dry. I’ll continue using it as needed, and see how things go.

Very pleased with this one. It only contains Cetomacrogol emulsifying wax (contains cetostearyl alcohol and macrogol cetostearyl ether), yellow soft paraffin and liquid paraffin. I.e. no perfume, detergents, preservatives etc.The texture is a couple of steps away from pure petrolium jelly. It is thick but soft. Spreads well. Covers well.It's a shame that the ones with added water necessarily have to have preservatives in them because they are nice to use too.I find this one soothing and it doesn't sting me on application.You need to use a clean teaspoon or spatula to take from out of the pot to avoid contamination.I wear cotton and change twice a day, and hot wash to make sure there is no build up on the clothing.2025/04/25 - Thanks very much for the back photographs which prompted me to try this ointment. My face with what looked like lumpy spots under the skin cleared up quickly and I am putting it down (I could be wrong) to the ointment not having preservatives (and I know I have had problems with preservatives before).

Excellent for dry and sensitive skin

The opening is way too large and so much comes out as it is liquidy like water. I have had to decant it into a pump bottle.
