Really pleased with this machine. It’s small enough to fit on the counter without taking over the kitchen, and it’s surprisingly quiet compared to other capsule machines I’ve used. Heats up fast, the controls are simple, and the coffee comes out consistently smooth with a good crema. Cleaning is straightforward, and the used‑pod drawer is handy. If you already like Lavazza coffee, this machine makes it even better. Great value for a reliable everyday espresso maker.

First, you should know that Lavazza will give you a Jolie + Milk for £1 if you sign up with them for coffee capsule deliveries (min 6 deliveries of min 10 boxes). Second, this model (Jolie on its own) does not take the standard capsules (th one Nespresso used to have a patent for, but doesn't any more). So it's just Lavazza coffee capsules are your only option. Third, it does not stop automatically (unlike the Jolie + Milk). You have to start it and then press the button again to stop the water coming through. Not a big deal, but unusual in coffee makers. Assuming you like the coffee Lavazza makes (been a Rossa drinker myself for years) then this is a nifty little unit that will fit in a corner of your kitchen work surface (kitchen space is always at a premium!) and make perfectly decent coffee. FYI the Lavazza Milk heater & frother is a really nice unit all on its own and make a great complement to this coffee machine.

I dumped my Nespresso machine because the pods were only 5g not the standard 7g for Italian espresso and got this instead. I love it. It is compact, simple to use, looks nice and the coffee produced is nice and hot. It tastes good too. It seems to extract the espresso really well and produces a good crema. The pods are not cheap but as I said, one shot is a proper Italian single espresso and tastes like it too. It easily fills a standard espresso cup. It is a one knob operation, press for on, blinking is warming up, light on is ready, press for espresso, press to stop and that is it.

Honestly I'm not a frequent review writer but I really felt I should share what a great coffee machine this is. I had been a faithful customer of Lavazza for over 10 years. I'd had several machines that were all good, but the last one was a monster. And they just didn't want to know. It was impossible to get assistance. So I cut my losses and went to Amazon. I'm so glad I did. This little machine looks good, it's quiet and it's so simple to use and clean. descaling it is an absolute dream. No sticking on frothers or pushing this button in synchronisation with that button and waiting for it to have a brainstorm as to whether it will work. Honestly, this machine serves a household of three ardent coffee drinkers and it's absolutely viceless and very reliable.

This Lavazza coffee machine is the best for me! I love Lavazza coffee, and this machine makes it so simple and quick to enjoy a perfect cup every time. The coffee tastes absolutely delicious, and I really appreciate how easy it is to clean and maintain. It’s a must-have if you love great coffee without any hassle.

Husband loves it, uses it every day. Makes an espresso quickly, good quality pods and holds a fair amount of water.

I bought this machine on 23 August 2023. It worked well for 3 months and the coffee was excellent for what comes out of a pod. However, after 3 months, it started to leak water all over the work surface. Rather than being filtered through the coffee, the hot water just poured down through the machine instead. If I use the machine now, I have to watch it constantly in case it starts spilling water. 60 percent of the time, the filtering process fails and I have to clean the surface and reinsert the pod or put a new pod in. Considering that this seems a recurrent complaint from other reviewers, there is no way I could recommend this machine as it's not worth the 80 quid for 3 months reliable service before it plays up like this. I don't know where it was made but I am very disappointed by Lavazza for selling such an unreliable product.

Can't find these capsules, I even tried to buy another type and they won't even accept a return. Not worth it if you can't re up on capsules once they're gone.
