These are pretty much shiny garbage. They come with a usb cable but no plug, so I ordered a spare plug too. Once plugged in, it lights up and cycles through the spectrum of colours. I tried connecting via the app and via my echo plus but it was virtually impossible - I even changed my Wi-fi system to only use 2.4ghz and it still wouldn’t detect the lamp - despite trying nearly all set up methods. All my other smart home devices are absolutely fine to set up so I’m experienced in it. After less then an hour the product stopped cycling through colours and stuck on one blue - which I hadn’t selected ... and which I couldn’t change as there are no buttons to change colour on the device - and it wasn’t connected to the app (one button changes colour but just starts the cycle from that colour) Overall ... pretty much doesn’t do what it says on the tin. If you want a dim light that cycles through colours and you can’t control -‘it’s great. BUT if you want smart mood lighting that gives your room ambience in a certain colour via your phone or echo ... then don’t buy this Have requested a refund - I’m now buying Phillips hue bloom instead.

It's not very bright, so you can't use it to actually light a room very well, but I use it as a night light for my 4-year-old, and it's perfect for that. The colours aren't very accurate though -- the yellow looks green, the orange looks yellow, and so on, but the blue is close to ultra-violet and the red is deep and dark. Works ok with google home.

Clever little device. Works very well. I found that to connect it to WiFi only touch the WiFi button. If you press the ‘Mode’ button at all after you connect it to power, you won’t connect. Also, before you start the app make sure your phone/iPad/tablet is connected to a 2G WiFi. Once things are set up, you can switch back to 5G and it will still work just fine. Alexa integration is also very quick and reliable. By the way, I bought two - one came with a usb Power supply and instructions, the other didn’t, hence dropping one star. On the one without, the WiFi LED didn’t light, and still doesn’t, but it works fine anyway.

Cold to the touch perfect for children's room easy to control.

Tried to pair via the AMA Home app running my Pixel 2 (Android Pie) and Samsung S7Edge (Android 8.x) using a 2.4 GhZ connection on both phones in September 2018 - and it simply could not locate the device despite holding down the WiFi button on the light. This product does not connect - so unless you want a bright light that changes colours until you unplug it - it's an overpriced product for its purpose with no support on your phone as advertised.

Rendered useless by not being able to create an account in the app. Light itself was bright and warm but had no way to connect it to my Wi-Fi or phone so returned.

Its a cheap night light; issues connecting to wi-fi but resolved after a few re-sets.
