A dream come true for Street Fighter fans!!!!
Before I begin the review, I just want to say that growing up as a kid in the 80’s and 90’s was so awesome and part of that reason is this classic fighting game, Street Fighter 2. I can still remember the day me and my cousin went in to the arcades amusements shop (in Dalston) and saw a whole group of youngsters gathering around this arcade game and the rest is history!!! Yeah I know I sound like an old man explaining all this, but that just goes to show that I could talk forever about this arcade classic. So what can I say that hasn’t already been said about this brilliant compilation? For a start I’m so happy that they included the first street fighter game from 1987 as this was a game I never experienced on arcade but as some would say it’s just an ok game, nothing ground-breaking but for curiosity alone. Now, onto my favourite trilogy of the Street Fighter 2 series, World Warrior, Champion Edition and Hyper Fighting (Turbo) I absolutely love these games, these 3 games I never get tired of playing and each time I play them, I enjoy them even more. These were the games I cherished so much on my Super Nintendo console back in the day, the nostalgia alone gets me fired up. In all honesty, I cannot pick a best of the three as all three are legendary. I also have fond memories of the Alpha trilogy, these games have much better animation, graphics and fight mechanics than the previous trilogy but if I were to pick one of this series, hands down it would be Alpha 3. An excellent series overall. I’ll be honest, I am not as familiar with the Street Fighter 3 series, except for New Generation. This is most likely because by this stage, arcade shops were getting closed down and I just don’t remember 2nd Impact or 3rd Strike but since this compilation includes them and having now played all three, I would say that 3rd Strike is one of my favourites now. So overall, I am very happy that Capcom released this compilation of my childhood favourite fighting game, much like I was very happy with the recently released Devil May Cry HD PS4 collection. Hopefully we will one day receive the following games as a compilation: Street Fighter The VS Series (XMEN Vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Vs. Capcom, Marvel Vs. SNK, Marvel Superheroes Vs. Street Fighter) Mortal Kombat Compilation (This would be EPIC!!) Tekken Compilation (Also just as EPIC!!) We can always dream!!! Bottom Line, if you love Street Fighter, buy this game right now!!

If you like Street Fighter, then you can't go wrong with this collection.
First of all, great value for money, the collection includes 12 games spanning the Street Fighter 1,2, 3, & Alpha series (among the 12 games included are 5 variations of SF2). I'm not particularly good at fighting games but really enjoyed this collection. I hadn't played SF3 nor SF Alpha before so it was really fun to experience those games for the first time -- in my opinion, they stood the test of time better than the SF2 series. If you're a fan of Street Fighter and/or want to experience some nostalgic 90's fighting games, you'll definitely get a kick out of this collection (round 1, FIGHT!).

A Fantastic Compilation of Arcade Gaming
I bought this way way way after release so i have no clue what the pre-order deal of USFIV is all about, nor do i really care and i hope we'll actually get a second physical collection that includes it, and maybe with some HD Arcade ports of the Street Fighter EX games too, eh Capcom? maybe put a little bit of love into that series maybe? hmm? whatever, this collection is pretty good but i'm saddened by the fact that we'll probably never have another port of Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX, which is by far my favorite Street Fighter overall and has the most replay value out of all of them, this collection however was a good way for me to play several Street Fighter games i've never even played, each game even had a lot of detail put into them like if you hover over a game and press triangle you'll get that game's backstory, and sometimes even "cheat codes" which was super nostalgic, and i love pointless trivia so that's two thumbs up from me, highly recommended!

Great collection but only for hard-core fighters
Great to see all these games in one collection. But unless your very much into fighting games, expect to get destroyed even on the easiest setting. Don't bother buying this to dip your toe into some retro fighting from the 90's - it will disappoint

Shes a beauty!
This is probably the best collection series ever offered by Capcom and it truly pays its respect to the SF1,2,3 and Alpha series. No bloatware DLC, just the games in pure form ready to play. Super fast loading and each game has options for arcade bezel/widescreen/screen filters so you can tweak it slightly visually to preference. Very nice little touches like museum content too (some amazing artwork...didnt know final fight was originally destined to be street fighter 89 either till saw concept art in there), but one of the best things is taking these oldskool battles online (SF2: Hyper Fighting, SSF2: Turbo, SF Alpha 3 and SF3: Third Strike). Gotta say, think me hands are getting old as default difficulty level seems higher then i remember..but for some these, its been a fair while! Time to dust of the arcade stick, throw some 20ps in the air and get some hours back in. Bit disappointed that SF2 HD Remix didn't make the cut as deserved to be here/massively disappointed amazonuk have screwed us on the free SF4 dl as other preorder retailers honoured it. (whoever made that call needs a shoryuken or two). Wont score the product down for this....shes a beut, but last time i preorder with amazon

The game arrived far earlier than I imagined it would. Playing Street Fighter again is a nice trip down memory lane. It takes me back to the 90's when S/F was a major part of my life, to offset the stress of studying at uni.

Love this game! One of the goats. Sometimes I leave the music playing without playing the game. Takes me back to the 90's. Great game, well done ps4.
