All of us but many kinds of writing instruments throughout our lifetime. We start with pencils and work our way to a ball or roller ball pen (the fountain pen is acquired, used and kept aside mainly because it is messy and the expensive ones are always short of ink to be of much practical use). The Cross ball pen is the King of ball pens. I possess a modest variant, low on the cost, but it is a quality product nevertheless. Buy any Cross ball pen variant, use it with reasonable care and you won't need to buy any other pen. Ever. Because you won't like it. Yes I know the Parker, Waterman and Sheaffer pens exist. They are very good too. But a Cross is a Cross. NOTHING comes close.

Average quality and packaging. I have owned Cross in the past, quality and packaging would be really good. Somehow these are looking very ordinary pen and packaging.
