Q: Is there a shelf life to this product?

I didn't buy the specific product you're interested in; however, I did purchase both the Flitz paste 1.76 oz tube and the Flitz Green 3.4 oz liquid . I did not see any 'use by' info on the packaging and it took me at least 12 months of periodic use to finish the tube of paste. Hope that helps.

Q: I have a brass railroad bell off a steam locomotive . Do I need to use some kind of cleaner on it or just polish it. It’s been outside for many years

You should just be able to use the flitz polish. I would recommend using 00 steel wool to start. Vic

Q: Has anybody used this on pontoon boat?

Yes, works well on a fiberglass boat. I have used it primarily on metals (brass, chrome, stainless-even sinks). However, there might be other polishes designed for boats that might work better. Works great on appliances but use a calcium and rust remover on your sink before this.

Q: Can Flitz be used to remove the haze on the plastic lens on car lights

Flitz isn't specifically designed with this in mind, but yes, it will work. It won't scratch or harm the plastic lenses in any way. Just make sure the cloth you apply it with (I prefer a cotton cloth for almost all applications to the newsprint that Flitz says can be used) is soft and clean, because abrasives on the cloth CAN scratch the plastic lens material. The longer you work the Flitz in, the more oxidation and haze you will remove from the lens.
