Nasal Cleansing Salt Jar Ancient Secrets 10 oz Salt

I used it to douche my nose following a septorhinoplasty, starting 2 weeks post OP. Felt wonderful and certainly felt very clear afterwards. Been using it for 4 weeks now and it has helped with healing.

Since using this product. my sleep has been undisturbed by coughing. It clears your head wonderfully.

I have a severe sinus condition that I'm in maintenance/healing mode with after three surgeries in a year to try and clear it up as much as possible. I have to irrigate--doctors orders, no choice--2 times or more each day. For a long time, I used the salt that came in packets in my solution. The problem with that is that the packaging takes a lot of room, the salt purchased that way is expensive on a cost per use basis, and then there are the empty packets you have to throw. I got tired of that and started looking for another solution. The Ancient Secrets Salt in the jar is very convenient to use...open the jar, use the scoop to move salt from jar to solution, close the jar. Could not be easier. The price? Well for the convenience factor it provides and comparing it to name brands like NielMed, I'm very happy about the cost of this product. I've seen other reviews giving this product 3 stars because the reviewer could by 'non-iodized' salt for less. I don't doubt that is true, but remember that you are putting this salt--in solution--up your nose and into your sinuses. After over $100K worth of surgery, I am VERY particular about the purity of the ingredients I use for nasal irrigating. The Ancient Secrets salt is manufactured for that purpose, whereas salt cheaper 'commodity' type salt is not, and is likely to be adulterated with additives to reduce clumping. I think the Ancient Secrets salt product is a good buy compared to equivalently pure alternatives, and I highly recommend it.
