I see what all the fuss is about. This is a great TV. My plasma TV finally died, but I had gotten used to the very rich, deep colors, and was "spoiled". The "movie" picture setting is just like my old plasma, but much more vivid and sharp. I'm really happy with it!

Ok, I gave it ample time to give this tv an honest review. My husband and I LOVE it. The picture is incredible. It’s crisp, clear and the colors are vibrant. The sound quality has me noticing nothing, which tells me it’s great. I always have sound quality complaints. I noticed in the reviews that, many customers complained about the remote. The remote is minimalistic. There’s not a lot of junk on it that is confusing. All that it has is what you need. If you take the time to learn the new remote, you’ll learn to love it. No batteries needed. It’s charged by solar or usb cable. The tv is very light, which is a huge plus if you’re mounting it to the wall. We’ve had it for quite some time now and we absolutely have zero regrets.

This is a fantastic TV, with amazing black and vibrant color. It’s great for watching sports through cable, streaming, and 4K Blu-ray. My only complaint is Samsung’s overly busy home menus, but I highly recommend this TV.

TV stopped turning on 1 month after the end of the 1 year warranty period. Now the red light blinks twice when you try to turn it on. $1000 piece of junk.

I purchased this TV to upgrade from my OG Samsung LED TV (still an amazing TV, now in my guest room). The Samsung Live TV is wonderful and easy to use, the solar charging remote makes me feel better about not wasting batteries, and the screensaver and timeout give me peace of mind about walking away into another room. My older Samsung TV had 120hz refresh and I could NOT live without that in my new TV. Such a rate in modern TVs is reserved for higher end models, so this is a GREAT value for a TV.

Great TV except for certain scenes. Skin tones and backgrounds are so dark that you can barely see the people or anything in the room. I've adjusted the picture quality, the brightness is up as high as it can go and nothing is working. When I go to other TV's in the house there is no problem. I would appreciate any suggestions for what to do

First off, ignore the people who gave this one star because the TV arrived with a cracked screen. That's a delivery issue, not a product quality issue. I did a lot of research before settling on this model and I'm very happy with my choice. The most important factors to me are picture and sound quality, both of which are excellent. It took a bit for me to get the settings perfect to my taste: now the colors are deep and bright, and the sound is so pure it actually takes getting used to (you don't realize how much sound interference there is until it's gone). The TV also has lots of apps as well as some live TV and Samsung channels. It's not cheap, but if you watch a lot of movies and prestige TV, and are in the market for an OLED, I highly recommend the Samsung S85D.
