Fantastic little EDC torch. Very bright light for its size. Excellent quality. Very long run time on low power mode.

Main reason I went for V3 because it has magnetic cap, on some occasions it is god sent. Has 3 decent light modes, with good spacing too. Clip could be beefier though, hardly fits on a baseball cap to use as a head torch.

Great little Torch great size , unbelievable brightness for the compact form factor of the tool , really great build quality. Had the little torch for a few months now use it daily and still not changed the battery so the battery life if fantastic also having three diff brightness modes and a magnetic tail end proves the functionality is great for the money

I am a long-time owner of the E12 v2. It is the one device that is always in pocket, every day of the week. So, I was looking forward to the v3. Fenix have built a critical flaw into the v3. The TLDR is to avoid this torch and buy the v2. Cons of v3: - Not as compact as the v2. (The v2 and v3 threads are incompatible also.) - Pocket clip is flimsy - The pocket clip on the v2 is sturdy and didn't need changing. - Memory mode. Not a feature a user wants if it can't be disabled. It might sound good but say you reach for the torch in the dark at night and the last time you used it, you left it on 200 lumens, bam goodbye night vision. Pros of the v3: - Sadly there are none - Hopefully Fenix fix the mistake in a v4. Other notes: - Still no low-low output. 5lm is the lowest level (same as v2). A level of 1 lumen or lower would be super handy. - 200lm output is redundant. If you want a super bright light, you're buying something that uses 14500 batteries or that takes 2 cells like the E20. The E12 v2 with alkaline or NiMH, is more than bright enough. Don't be duped by marketing. - Magnetic tail cap. The all-metal button does feel good in hand but then so did the rubber one on the v2. The magnet constantly sticking to keys or other metal nearby is irritating and not worth its usefulness. In summary the v3 is a downgrade of the v2. The biggest issue is not being able to disable memory mode. That unfortunately kills the product. After I returned this v3 I picked up another v2 to have as I expect stock of the v2 will dry up now the v3 is out.

Sehr gut verarbeitete kompakte Taschenlampe mit guter Lichtleistung für die kleine Grösse. Was nicht gefällt: Die Verpackung. Man muss sie kaputt schneidern, um sie aufzukriegen. Somit kann man die Taschenlampe nicht in einer kleinen Box aufbewahren. Für den Preis von über 40 € ein NoGo, solch eine Verpackung !

Great build quality as expected. Very decent power and throw considering it’s working off an Alkaline AA battery. I needed a torch where I could remove the battery and keep it aside and put the battery and use it when I liked without issues like leakage and battery discharge / charge issue. This fits the bill perfectly. Super premium build quality.
