Great tool for ADHD people
I was impressed by the delivery as I ordered around 10 pm and got it before 9 am the next day. The packaging is nice which is not always the case for products found on Amazon! The case is good quality with a silicone type of background inside where you place the telephone. Super easy to use. I have been using it for 3 nights now and it is helping me a lot. I force myself to put the phone in the case and take a book to read! It has seriously helped me sleep earlier and avoid those long night scrolling. I get very easily distracted and lose the notion of time on my phone so I am now considering taking it to work or trying it during the day on weekends to see if it helps me be more productive and less distracted. So far I am really happy with this purchase!

Worth it
Despite reading highly rated reviews of this product, I was slightly skeptical due to there only being a handful of reviews. So ended up browsing for aaaages only to land back on this one. What separated this one from the cheaper versions was the fact it has a limit of 5 emergency unlocks and then you can no longer use the E feature once it runs out. That sold me, as lack of self-restraint was the reason I needed one in the first place. If you really want to stop yourself from potentially using this feature, I suggest throwing away the manual straight away. Now on to the product. Absolutely LOVE IT. The design is aesthetically pleasing and loved the packaging. The device works incredibly well and it gave me the freedom I was desiring. I became far more productive, focused and had much more time on my hands. I would highly suggest this and already recommended this to friends and family.

Great product
Does it exactly what it’s intended to do & as it’s described, but beware that it might come with a dead charger. My USB didn’t work so had to use one of my own. Other than that it’s great

The phone break I was looking for months.
In the last few months I have purchased 3 books and only read about 20 pages. I constantly check my phone and I have realised I am spending hours on it, at work and at home. I could not stop. I basically needed a physical barrier or something. I missed reading a book and I had to think radicaly. I started to shop on Amazon and found this oppybox. I'll be honest, the photos and video quality made me decide this is worth a try. I used a OnePlus 12 which is a huge phone and this box is perfectly sized to accommodate it. And inside it has like a silicone padding or something, which is great for anti scratch protection for my phone. And it's absolutely wonderful. I go to work, I lock the phone in the box . I get home, I lock it again for a couple of hours. It's amazing, soo much spare time to catch up with my books, family time etc . The only regret I have is that I haven't searched for a physical barrier between the phone and me a couple of years ago. This looks like a new device, new company but to be honest it seems like the people behind it have invested a great deal of time and effort in this oppybox. Simple and efficient. Perhaps they were suffering from the same issue as me, too much wasted time on a stupid phone. This box hopefully will help me become less dependent on social media and phone activities overall. I am planning to do a masters degree and don't think checking my phone constantly will have a positive effect on my future studies. Will definitely recommend to others.

Way overpriced but weigh up your needs.
This product is far too expensive for what it is. This is an item that should be £20-25, which I would pay. At almost £40, this is a very basically programmed box that is entirely made out of plastic. At this price point (actually about £5 or ~ 15% less) you can get yourself a full metal Yale safe which can provide a similar experience. Now though, the positives: Regardless, I did buy it, the item does in fact solve an issue and quite frankly it’s very convenient to use, you can charge your phone and if you wanted to bring this somewhere (not sure why) you could. The item is packaged well and presented nicely too, Overall it might be plastic but it’s not “plastic tat”, it’s pretty sturdy. The device charges through Type-C and is very simple to understand and use. I suppose it’s really a matter of is the extra time you save by this worth £40 of your time, which is almost all cases will be yes. Regardless of this though, £40 is still steep. Some improvements that would be good: Soft close latch, especially at £40 I really don’t see any reason this doesn’t have a soft close latch, currently when I take my phone out the plastic cover just comes smashing back down a lot of the time. I also don’t see any reason it can’t be made out of glass. These are novelties, yes, and absolutely not necessary for this type of device but that would at least somewhat justify the price. Otherwise, reduce the price. I would imagine the cost of building this is sub £3-£4 + £2 P&P so although I keep banging on about it, the price is completely unacceptable when you could still be making an excellent margin at say £20 or £25. Anyway, weigh it up, there are other alternatives out there for less money but none seem to have great reviews so at this current time it seems that oppybox might be the only people doing this well (somehow). Maybe just think about leaving your phone in another room at night or doing other things.

phone prison
Bought to use when playing with my son, so he and only he catches my attention. works as it should, however I threw the instructions and it seems the emergency unlock only works 1-2 times (ever) as I accidentally set 45 hours and not 45 minutes last week and could not get the emergency unlock to work, no info online available for this, the unlock did work when I first tested the box but it seems there is a finite limit on this, good but bad as well so 5 star as it does do what it is meant to, its well built and good quality, I will not deduct a star for my own stupidity :)
