Fertilize pomegranates in early spring and in fall. In your location, that would likely work out to March and October/November. Down To Earth Fruit Tree 6-2-4 can be spread under the tree canopy starting about a foot from the trunk and working outward to the drip line.

Thank you for your interest in Down to Earth Fertilizer If the pomegranate is stalled due to nutrient deficiency, fertilization at this stage could help the tree continue production. It is also possible, however, that this is a variety that ripens later in the year. Some varieties do not get ripe until December. There may also be a weather component stalling ripening. Natural fertilizers do require a moderately warm soil temperature to function effectively, but we’d assume that Phoenix soil is still pretty warm this time of year.
