The honeycomb is great for small and perhaps most projects. As time goes on and my needs increase, I perhaps will purchase the 15 X 15 honey comb.... The honey comb is a needed item to support the best cutting.. It is not needed if surface engraving is only done. But eventually you will want to through cut the project. *(SAM)*

This little thing is wonderful so far! I'm in love with engraving on Aluminum and Acrylic!
