I was very hesitant to try this product at first because it smells like cedar pine trees 🌲 so not the most feminine smell but i will say this, after trying this shampoo and conditioner combo i felt a major difference on my hair, it made it feel so incredibly soft afterwards and the smell doesn't linger as much afterwards. Overall if you just want to purchase it for the esthetics go for it !

We used these products for the first time in CA at an AirBnB rental and fell in love with them. As soon as we got home, we ordered them right away and have been using them for over 2 years now. They made our hair and skin feel wonderful. The whole line from Aesop are great products!

I love these products. They smell great, last a long time and look good in your bathroom.

I’m a fan of Aesop products and this shampoo doesn’t disappoint when it comes to performance—cleans well, doesn’t dry my hair out, and feels like a step above your average bottle on the shelf. That said, the scent has a strong licorice (anise) note that’s a bit much for me. It’s not bad, just a little overpowering compared to some of their other, more balanced fragrances. I’ll finish the bottle, but next time I’ll probably reach for one of their other scents I’ve liked more. Still, solid product—just not my favorite scent-wise.

As I stated in the title, the scent is amazing! Leaves my hair soft and shiny, I would give 5 stars, but it’s just so expensive.

Good quality product

I’m a massive Aesop fan. Every sink in our home is flanked by hand soap and lotion by them. My list of products I love from them is long so I was excited to try out their shampoo and conditioner. Sadly this product falls flat. The smell is amazing however it does not lather well. I have to double wash to get any good suds. Usually when you apply conditioner you can feel it assisting with the tangles… no such luck with this one, it just sits there. After my hair feels like I washed it with hand soap or body wash. My hair feels stripped and not nourished. The shampoo is now being used as body wash and the conditioner as in shower moisturizer because. This probably would be fine for someone with short hair that isn’t chemically treated but I have thick hair that is a fine texture, long and colored… for the price I can buy oribe or other high end products
