Very useful bags, and they seem to keep food fresher for longer.

Although one pays a premium for compostible bags, they are good quality and fairly robust when used in the freezer or in cool, dry conditions. By their nature, the bags degrade if they get damp over prolonged periods, but this is a reasonable risk when contrasted with potentially damaging plastics. - I’m still an advocate and the bags have proven popular with family and friends.

Use these a lot for leftovers around kitchen. Been in fridge and freezer no problem. Filled with hot food including soup no problem. Bought many times. Easy to write on. Excellent seal. Last ages, no perishing or decomp of plastic even after a year. Hoping they'll do what they say and biodegradable once binned.

I love that these are compostable. I’m trying to avoid plastic as much as I can so these are a godsend. They are a good size, strong, and reusable. I haven’t been using them long so I don’t know how long each one will last, but so far they are lasting well. We mostly use them for freezing bread, but they would be suitable for anything you would normally put in a freezer bag.

These are brilliant. You can also use them more than once. I used mine to freeze too and they did well. feels good to throw away and know it isn't polluting! Great little buy.

I am environmentally conscious. Everything I do is always on my moral principles. Plastic has to be kept out of the life stream. Food storage bags are a great contributor to the world-wide problem. These little green bags help be a part of the solution. I like them despise their problem of easily tearing. Taking care at the bag filling stage overcomes the issue. I am reminded that I am doing this for myself and the planet. I. have used them for a couple of years with no food safety issues .

These bags do not zip. Not a single one would work. What a waste of money
