The second level is painful and even hurts my teeth but with level 1 I feel almost nothing. Still, I had a saggy smile line that had a crook at the end (like a hockey stick) and the crook is almost completely gone. Just a small line. Once a day for about a minute for one month.

I bought this as the spa where I get facials was offering micro current stimulation as a service. After I used this device once, I had mild but persistent tooth pain. I spoke to the owner of the spa where I go, and she said that a few of her customers had experienced this when they received their service. They checked it out further and found that this can be an issue using micro current when the customer has had any dental work. Who doesn't have at least one filling in their mouth?

I tried other same ones before i got this and kept it. It has proven itself very strong and durable where no phase stops working. Does it work? Yes! But YOU need to commit yourself and dedicate time for the massage needed on your target spots, impotant: do not rush it by increasing the power please go gradually for what your areas can withstand like the sensitive eye area, keep it on low!. You must cover your face with serum for best results(thats expensive) but I use this big jug of crude coconut oil i bought here on Amazon, or use PURE aloe vera, whater it is you need to drench your face with it as it gets absorbed and you cant use the device on dry skin!. Be patient and be consistent, if you can do it twice a day you see results faster I cleanse my face and do treatment before bed and now 2 months the finer lines around eyes have disappeared and most difference is by lip area the corner sagging is not as prominent and the frown lines above nose between eyebrows wow! So this is what this has done for me but it does take work even on nights i just want to go to bed so tired i stop and push myself that i must do this. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

so this isn't a microcurrent device, it's EMS (electrical muscle stimulation), which is totally different. the advertising and labeling are super misleading, so if you're looking for a legit nuface alternative, this ain't it. microcurrent uses low-level electrical currents to stimulate cellular activity and boost ATP production, which helps tone the skin over time in a more subtle way. it's more about long-term lifting and rejuvenation rather than instant results. EMS, on the other hand, sends stronger electrical pulses that actually make your muscles contract, directly stimulating your facial muscles instead of just energizing the skin. when i use this, my face twitches, which is a clear sign that it's EMS and not microcurrent. some benefits of EMS include: - better muscle tone – helps tighten and define facial muscles - more lifted contours – can give a temporary firming effect - increased circulation – better blood flow = healthier-looking skin - less puffiness – helps drain excess fluid, especially around the jawline and cheeks - lymphatic drainage boost – can help with detox and reducing facial bloating - possible wrinkle reduction – tighter muscles can make the face look smoother if you're expecting microcurrent-style lifting, this might not be for you. but if you want something that really works your facial muscles, EMS could be worth trying. i'll test it out for a month or two and update this review later
