Swapped this out with standard outside sensor light worked immediately with WiFi best thing I’ve bought in ages fantastic pix easy to use can’t rate it highly enough ended up buying another one one for front door and one for back garden from a visitor point of view just looks like a sensor light but is a security camera very discreet very good value for money a lot of features great night vision

Purchased this new model as I knew the older model had condensation issues, hopefully that has been resolved on this model, added to my 3 camera Hikvision NVR, set up was quite easy and straightforward. Aesthetically it doesn’t look that great to me, although that is subjective, the light is nice and bright and can be adjusted, one thing I could not find is the light duration setting, they need to update this with firmware. The dynamic range is really bad in my opinion, the shadows are so dark and there’s limited options to adjust the image settings. Motion detection can be set accordingly and does send notifications promptly. Overall it does the job, it was on promo for £116 when I bought it, I guess it’s ok value for the money, will update in the future if there are any issues.

I'm a big fan of EZVIZ products due to their stylish designs, performance and price so when this outdoor floodlight camera became available I was keen to take a look at it. When this arrived you immediately notice the weight of the box and on unpacking you can see why as this is very well made. Unlike EZVIZ security cameras, which are mainly battery powered, this requires a mains supply. Fortunately for me I was putting this where an old outside light was so I could reuse the wiring but if you've not got anything there you'll need to factor that in. Installation was pretty straightforward then as I could use the drill template provided and just wire it straight up. After that it's just a case of setting it up in the EZVIZ app which is really easy nowadays. One thing I noticed straightaway that I didn't like was the EZVIZ logo on the light part of the floodlight (the white area) I'd rather that be on the bottom underneath the camera, this is purely aesthetics but I think it would look better. The light itself is very bright and can be easily controlled including the warmth should you want something a little more yellow as your outdoor light. The camera inside is a 2K camera, which for a floodlight/camera of this type I think is plenty. The camera has local storage via a microSD card behind a screw in cover which is good for security however there is a very accessible reset point which I think is a bit of an oversight from EZVIZ as this is unlikely to be a camera that is placed out of reach. Still, you need to know it's there in the first place and your casual burglar is unlikely to know that. The camera has all the latest AI type functionality common in EZVIZ cameras, human detection, vehicle etc. and is able to automatically rotate the camera to track movement in front of the camera. As I'm writing this review the floodlight is £130 which I think is about right for the specification, when you look at the pricing of some of the EZVIZ outdoor battery cameras this isn't that much more to include a light plus the responsiveness of the camera will be a lot better with it being mains powered.

The EZVIZ 2K Floodlight Outdoor Security Camera arrived professionally packed in a full colour cardboard box bearing the EZVIZ branding with a picture of the unit. In the box you get the light/camera unit, some expansion plugs/screws for installation and an instruction manual. The light is designed for installing at a door or similar to enable recording of visitors or delivery people etc. Installation is reasonably straightforward but being a mains powered unit you will very probably have to run a power cable through a wall during the install. Like most of these units, video is recorded to an Micro SD card (not supplied) in the unit or you can pay a hefty subscription for online cloud storage. The camera features WiFi to enable notifications of activations to be sent to your phone. The unit works well during the day but unfortunately with the light being next to the camera, it is impossible for anyone to be recognised at night as when the light activate it is too bright for the camera and all faces appear completely white with no detail. The light can be decreased in brightness but even at the lowest setting it does not help with loss of detail. OK camera for daytime use - needs a bit of redesign for night use.

Nach über einem halben Jahr bereits im Einsatz. Alles bestens, sehr gute Bildqualität. Handhabung via App klappt problemlos von überall, auch aus dem Ausland. Hatten vorher ein deutsches Produkt von Steinel, da gab's nur Probleme und wurde zurück geschickt. Klare Kaufempfehlung dieser Kamera.
