8BitDo have nailed the IBM 'Model M' retro aesthetic and the switches are a joy to type on. Rock solid build qualiity, far better than many far more expensive mech keyboards (looking at you, Logitech MX Mechanical Mini) EDIT: I'm using on Mac, and the A and B buttons serve very nicely as two Command keys.

A perfect mechanical sound, just like the old terminals. Nice gray color and cute rounding on the keys. Good form factor - not excessively large, but with all keys needed for comfort coding.

This might be my favourite keyboard I have ever owned. The build quality is second to none. The feel and sound is so nostalgic. It's everything its trying to be. If you like retro keyboards, but this one.

Amazing keyboard for fans of retro style keyboards!

Pros: switches are beautiful in use. A little noisy but that’s ok for my environment (just no stealth typing in meetings); I love the design; the accompanying software opens up huge possibilities for customisation; the A & B buttons are customisable so you can truly customise for efficiency. Con: for me just one but it’s a big one. The keyboard is US layout which means | is missing and @ “ are in the wrong places i.e. when I type shift+2 I get “ but the keyboard has an @ symbol. 8bitdo doesn’t supply UK keys either with the keyboard nor for purchase afterwards so you will be stuck with the wrong symbols on your keys. You could but third party keys to fix this but given the style of the keyboard it would take away from the retro look.

This has a great set of features for a relatively low price, though that price seems to fluctuate a lot: hotswappable key switches, 2 forms of wireless connection, and a volume dial. Decent build quality too, though more control over the angle would be good. But it has some vital flaws that makes it not very good for UK/Euro users, but also not great for anyone looking for a useful keyboard. Though the propietary software looks promising, you can't do some very common and important things. There is no way to use modifier keys to make different keystrokes - for example if you wanted to have a numpad again, an obvious choice accommodated by many keyboards at this price range, would be to hold a modifier key to turn a section of the keyboard into the numpad, or you may wish to type accented letters, or type an unusual currency symbol. Not possible. Another common, very useful feature is media keys - play/pause, volume and so on. These ARE actually present on this keyboard, but completely undocumented - if you look at the manual for the xbox version of this keyboard, something that should not be required in a sane product, you will see it is possible to manually bind a Fn key in the configuration software, and press Fn+F8-F12 for various media key functions. No mention of this in the support pages, the manual for this specific product, no markings on the keyboard, no hints in the software. Batty. The £ character cannot be bound at all to any key using the software, it simply does not have that character in the dropdown lists it presents to you. You would need this if you were using the US layout setting in your operating system. Setting your layout to UK in Windows, to be able to type it with shift-3, means you lose the backslash key - normally on the US layout that'd be above the enter key, but that key now turns into # and ~. And if you bind the special A or B keys to backslash, they just come out as #, because it's apparently reporting that same above-enter keystroke. It really shows that they came to this keyboard with a 'game controller' mindset and didn't pay so close attention to the fact you'd also have this in day to day use - but also didn't spend too long looking at what the competition does and why. The fact the documentation doesn't even tell you about the media keys and the poorly thought out key binding software is really emblematic of a half-effort approach, which is a shame, because it's an appealing design, as i mentioned before, with some good features for the price.

Worst keyboard ever. The keyboard doesn't work or type only the sound bar works. It does everything except type.

PCについているキーボードしか使ったことがなかったので、初めて青軸キーボードを入手しました。ﾃﾞｻﾞｲﾝもさることながら、カチッとした打鍵音も気に入っています。ただなかなか音が大きいので周りの人には迷惑かも・・です。 まあまあお高いので迷いましたが、買ってよかったです。

Keyboard is great for those who likes clicky switches. I returned it though because if you are typing fast there is too much noise due to this double click each time.

من أفضل الكيبوردات السويتشات لينه وبها صوت جميل, اقل ازعاجا من السويتش الازرق بكثير وتدل على جودة في الصوت, سرعتهم نعم مثل السويتشات الزرقاء. المنظر للكيبورد جميل جداً يوحي كانه من حقبه قديمه ولكن جديد! الحجم مناسب. جودة البلوتوث فيه ممتازه لاتوجد مشاكل, وتستطيع شبكة يو اس بي سي لشحنه او استخدامه.
