A good solid knife for the price. I have a couple of the original Bear's knives that I got on sale a few years ago and consider it a good product. Is it as good as the $100+ famous name knives, no. For the guy that needs a good easy to sharpen knife that you can do a little hard work with it can do and make a good carry knife for a hunting or camping trip a couple of times a year. If your into bushcraft or full time living off the land get a better knife. Good knife for the guy or girl that only needs a good knife for that long weekend camping trip. Value for the price. quality,value hold an edge ok ,sharpens easy. Good utility knife.

This knife is well made! Good sharp blade that is durable. The sheath is well made and has some nice features. The orange makes it nice to find if you happen to drop it somewhere accidentally. I would buy again, it is a great price for a good quality knife. Look on Youtube for more reviews about the quality, some of the knife reviews are BRUTAL and the knife keeps working! No one would use a knife to do what the reviewers do to them.

pretty nice, handle is a little on the thin side. Feels mildly cheap, but blade is thick. Bear Grylls got caught sleeping in hotels instead of the wilderness I heard lol

I’m a buck knife fan but compelled to admit this is a darn nice and excellent performer! Watch prices as they change…. Wait for a deal !

This is an update from previous review. Surprisingly this blade Is very functionable and very tough. For the price that it is available I would recommend highly. I have purchased many many blades and around 80% needing sharpening when received. This blade was received with NO sharpening needed. I have used for household tasks needing a sharp blade and this one is the answer, or I would be perfectly comfortable doing a Presidential traverse of the northern and southern mountains of New Hampshire. If you purchase this one you HAVE to get the matching folder of this steel. Another absolutely great piece of steel for short money.

This knife is awesome, great size, weight, extremely sharp it does not disappoint. The whistle on the paracord nice addition. I'd buy it again.

For $20 I’m pleasantly surprised with the quality and sharpness. Don’t do the finger test, you’ll need to buy some bandaids next.

Pretty much what everybody else said. It is a good basic knife for the price. For the tough gashing and smashing I might do while trying to get setup in a camp in the woods, it is just fine. Actually, I prefer a knife of this caliber because I don't feel too bad if I damage it. The sheath is useless.

Great product

Not bad I had purchased one of these several years back and it came with the flint in the sheath and the case was much better This one is definitely the cheaper version and was a little disappointed. Still very sharp and sturdy but I liked the older version better
