PRISMXR Carina D1 Magnetic Charging Dock Compatible with Meta Quest 3, Effortless Drop-and-Charge Station, Space-Saving (No-Beeping Model)​, NOT Compatible with Quest3S

Bought this dock as I wanted to use a Halo Strap with a battery and wanted the USB C for that and not charging. This charges through the pins on the bottom of the headset and charges very quickly. Another reason I chose this dock was because their controller batteries are 1800mAh which is larger than your average rechargeable options for controllers. It included the rechargeable batteries and new battery covers for your controllers which work great. They fit like OEM and the charging is very convenient. The headset and controllers use magnets to align themselves in the dock which is very convenient as you don't have to really look when placing them in the dock. My dock beeped whenever you would place your headset or controller in to charge which I didn't mind. Some people complain but I thought it's convenient to have an audible confirmation of charging without having to look for a solid orange LED every time. Unfortunately my dock would randomly beep after fully charging. I reached out to the seller and they were very quick with offering a replacement stating the newer model does not beep. I agreed as the first time this happened was at 3am, hours after everything was fully charged. The replacement dock arrived very quickly (two days) and I replaced the original with it. So far no beeps and it seems to function exactly as the previous. I'm hoping mine was just a dud cuz having the beep is nice but I wish there had been an option to disable it. Their customer service and support was super quick and very helpful. They had even answered my previous questions about the batteries. It's good to know the support is there when you need them but also the quality of their products are very good. This dock was compatible with the BOBOVR S3 Halo battery strap, BOBOVR F3 interface as well as the Meta Quest 3 Open Interface as they did not interfere with charging. I also purchased their controller straps which are compatible with their docks and use the same recharging system.

The product is great. So easy to set up and getting working. It charges quickly. It isn't overly large and doesn't take up much more space than the headset itself. The only tricky part is, depending on your head strap, you may need to figure out how your head strap needs to be positioned when you place it in the cradle so the magnetic connection is correct and it will charge. Overall not that difficult to to do. My tag line mentioned customer service....well...it's really top notch. I had my charger for a few months and it started to not work properly. It wouldn't charge correctly, it would show as fully charged (green light indicator) even when I just got done using it. The head set was not fully charged and the indicator was saying was. I would fiddle with it and eventually it would then...after a while it wouldn't ever charge. I went on their discord channel and asked if anyone was having similar issues. I immediately received a response from the Prism XR team advising me they would send a DM. I received the DM, they asked a few questions, and then advised they would send a replacement free of charge. They wouldn't have any in stock to send for about three weeks, so they offered to send me out one of their battery belts, free of charge, so I would have something until the chargers were available. So I waited the three weeks and followed up with the contact I had from the DM message...the new...free of charge...charger was already on its way to me. He provided me the tracking number and I received it a day or two later. In today's world you don't ofter find companies who stand behind their products like this. They went above and beyond to make it right. I am very with the product and very impressed with their customer service. Anyone who is looking for some VR accessories, I would suggest you check out Prism XR...these guys are great!

I’ve had this for just over 2 months now and I honestly love it. It makes things so much easier when I’m done playing. I just set the headset down in the cradle and it starts charging automatically, and same with the controllers. You just drop them in the little holes and they charge too, no messing around with cables or trying to line things up. Once they’re full it stops charging on its own so I don’t even have to think about it. It’s also super neat looking, everything fits in a small circle instead of those big long charging docks where everything’s spread out. Way better for keeping stuff organized. The only issue I had was after about 7 weeks the rechargeable controller batteries started acting weird, but honestly that’s probably cause 4 people use this headset a lot in my house. I contacted the company through their Discord (you can also email them on Amazon) and they replied at like 1:30 in the morning saying they were already sending replacements out. No questions, no charge, nothing. Easiest customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve bought a few different charging docks before this one and ended up returning all of them. This one’s the only one that worked exactly how I wanted. I’m not getting anything for saying this, I just wanted to help anyone else looking for the right setup. If you’re thinking about it, get this one. You’ll be glad you did.

En general lo recomiendo, lamentablemente me toco uno con defecto, me gusta el diseño y lo practico que es, pero algunas veces no carga las gafas, y hay que estar reiniciando, otras veces enciende y apaga, no funcionan. El vendedor me reembolso el costo del producto.

He mirado un montón de bases de carga y me decanté por esta, por los comentarios y por el diseño que va a corde con la estética de las gafas. No me gustaba mucho la idea de añadirle una pieza a las gafas, pero no es para tanto, ya que a penas se nota y no las daña. Carga muy bien y bastante rápido. Que venga con un soporte para correas le viene de maravilla. Todo un acierto

Hier stimmt einfach alles. Ob mit oder ohne aftermarket Kopfgurt, die Brille passt einwandfrei in die Ladestation. Dank des flexiblen Anschlusses und den Magneten klappt es meistens auf anhieb. Die Controler gleiten förmlich in ihre Halterungen zum Laden und sind, dank der Magneten, auch gut fixiert. Das Ganze dann auch noch kompakt und platzsparend. Ich betreibe die Station übrigens mit einem 65W USB 9/12/20V Schnelllade-Netzteil. Ich kann die Ladestation guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Fantastic, stylish charging dock - I particularly like the magnetic connector that pops up and attaches to the headset when you insert it to the dock. Another welcome feature is the fact that it’s designed to work with third party headsets as well as the stock headband, so easily handles my S3 Pro headset. The design is stylish and attractive too, I really like the fact the controllers also fit into the dock to charge, within the headset area so they’re out of sight while charging. The 3 LEDs on the front of the dock show that the controllers and headset are connected to the dock and whether they’re charging or fully charged and ready for use. It’s not the cheapest charging dock on the market but is far better built than many of the cheaper docks and offers a style, as well as a degree of protection for the headset and controllers, that others do not. My only gripe with the dock is that the Q3S reports the controllers as being 80% charged when they’re fully charged, but this seems merely the displayed number because the controllers easily last for a full day’s usage still showing 40% charged after 5 or 6 hours of use. I played Ghost Town yesterday from start to completion - around 12 to 14 hours of play over the course of the day - and the controllers still had plenty of charge left… I am yet to encounter a situation when I’ve needed to charge the controllers because they were low, even tho my S3 headset increases stock play time by some 10 hours or even longer with the hot swap batteries. In summary, this is a fantastic charging dock for the Meta Quest 3S, able to cope with third party headsets as well as the provided headband. It’s stylish, protective and functional, working as well as it looks. For me this is a very easy two thumbs up 👍🏼👍🏼
